Houston / Austin / San Antonio Dyno Day – October 24th

Where did 25psi come from? I thought 18-20 was stock and 22 was max on the 65. Hey Marko can you update your sig I think SW went 7.91@189 in six speed supra
Any details - pics, easy to get to? I assume it works the same as the tach sensor on the coil wire? I have the one from ATI smart Tach

I'll try to take some pics next time i'm at a dyno. Just made a piggyback harness for ground side of injector wire.

Pre-Post baselines & tunes are heavily skewed past the highest DynoJet readings, there are now (2) S65's tuned on this MD set to read @ Lunar gravity levels. 583 rwhp & 842 rwtq is just from tuned ONLY S65 running 93 octane.
There just isn't 177 odd RWTQ to be gained by adding ONLY 2-3 PSI over Busa's old tune that was set to 22 PSI in his earlier posts, remember the Roger V. S65 ECU airbox/HE upgrades by RENNtech? it ran 11.06 @ 128.7 mph it dyno'd on DynoJet @ 610 rwhp 720 rwtq on 105 OCTANE TUNE
http://www.dragtimes.com/Mercedes-Be...lip-10181.html
Doubt the 105 Octane tune? look @ the Dyno in link, AFR's are in high 13's no way that S65 is on anything less than 105 octane...
I don't care nor did I ever comment on the 55k baselines or tunes, just the 65/600 results are in question/hyped/flawed...

It's obvious that where RennTech and Kleemann have failed and were able to extract only a mere 720tqs on 105 race fuel, they were able to MacGyver another 120++rwtqs out of the V12s on just 93.
670rwtq bone stock ahahahahahaha L O L!!!! omg Shieettt maybe I need to blaze one too for these numbers to stick!! ahahahaahahaha... hahaha...ha...
On a serious note, I've got a few islands to sell-- PM for me details.

I don't know what all the fuss is about. I went there with a slow E55, and came back with a beast! Even with my heat soaking engine. Shardul, hit me up after NY, we need to fix this problem. Oh yeah, that S65 was a BEAST!

After some serious patience and effort on Jerry's part the net result at the end of the day was 583rwhp/842rwtq with A/F about 12.2-12.5 below 3500rpm and 11-11.4 from 3500-6k and boost never exceeded 24-25psi. That's not a typo.....842rwtq folks. We made 3 pulls to be sure we had it right and they all resulted in similar numbers.
Just so we're clear, that's a 51rwhp increase and a 173rwtq increase over the stock tune in my car.....or as some of you would say my "already tuned" car.
I but it's finally done, it's done right, and my car is brutally fast.

Dude - you've got some big ones.. undoubtedly airbrushed for added size since that's what you do for a living.. Really an airbrush artist, you say that with such pride... what degree do you have to have for that??
I would pay money to see you come to Texas and face Busa, Aggie and Exotic face to face. Insulting them and their intelligence is stupid at best and considering they are 6'8, 6'7, and 6'6 respectively you may rethink who you are antagonizing.

Off the pissing contest topic, Akademiks your SL is gorgeous. I love those wheels. The black with a super clean polished, brushed, or even chrome look is SICK!

Here is the deal: you can doubt the numbers all you want. And others can defend them, it is a forum and a free country after all.
But insulting people YOU don't know is not too smart. Since I've seen all three guys you've challanged why don't you post a picture of yourself in this thread so we can see why your not "scurrred".

Wow. What a fing joke this thread is. I’m at work and haven’t had a chance to scroll through the 4 pages of nonsense from the continued non-believers, but let me say this.....my 65 has been on 3 different dynos including Kurt’s and I’ve probably logged about 75 pulls. On all 3 dynos (including Kurts) my car consistently dynoed between 528/533rwhp, end of story. It’s a tool...that’s all.
And for the record, I’ll be going to the track shortly and I’ll revert with ET’s/MPH backed up with video footage....only to be questioned by certain people, behind their keyboards here with their own “calculations” and “theories” based on their internet wisdom for why I must be lying, or why my car isn’t ECU tuned only, or the calibration of the clocks must be off, etc….
For those of you doubting my numbers by LET, let’s line ‘em up and find out how much hp/torque my 65 “really” makes.
Some of you need to get a grip and back away from the keyboard......

you guys are going to make yourself nuts trying to digest this data for its face value....Im far from an expert but one thing ive learned is to take take into account the relative factors involved. That being said, unless more data is revealed these numbers are just that, some numbers. Relative factors: weather, altitude, gear in which dyno was done, gear in which boost reading was done, octane used, and so on and so forth.....all of these factors make a huge difference in the outcome of whatever benchmark test you are using, specifically on our V12tt platform.
PS. Its race season here on the east coast. For all you guys that say "i have X RWHP and X RWTQ" and "X PSI of boost" its time to produce some real world numbers, and thats ET and Trap. C u all at the track!!

Thank you sir. Yeah, these wheels man... been through hell and back with them. I was gonna sell them, and thankfully the deal fell through numerous times. Honestly, I'd be kicking myself in the *** if I sold these, every time I take the wheels to Shoreline Motoring or wherever to fix them (like all aftermarket wheels, they tend to bend if you hit a big enough pot hole) I always get compliments on them; wether for the looks or exclusivity. They are in the shop right now getting fixed, along with some goodies... car is sitting on lowly crappy Monarchs for now.

Buncha kids around here, trying to stir sh.t up. Blaze one, you need to take a step back and realize thericker never said anything about fighting with anyone. Amazingocity brought it up. And regardless, I hardly consider insulting people as disagreeing with people's dyno numbers-- talk about panties in a wad.

On-topic... the peak HP numbers for the V12TT vehicles are stout but in-line with good results IIRC, but the peak TQ readings are stratospheric. Plausibly a calibration problem, but hard to say anything definitively. Couldn't agree more with the owner/operator's assessment that this is merely a tool in the toolbox for measuring modding/tuning performance improvements. Best to be viewed as just that, IMHO. Look forward to seeing the track results of these beasts when they run - I'm confident they'll be strong.

Does a post poking fun at another member lose credibility when "credibility" is spelled wrong?
Boy the proverbial sh_it is going to hit the fan, these #'s are WACK i'm very disapointed this info on MD setting set to read like DJ wasn't noted till your other thread here, def sheds light on these outrageous inflated MD/DD #'s were seeing lately 669 RWTQ on stock SL600 w/20"s wheels is laughable, even on highest reading DynoJet you'll see 110 odd less RWTQ vs these puffy #'s
https://mbworld.org/forums/sl-class-...ml#post3780385
This explains the 845 rwtq S65/SL65 data now, once again very disapointing...

You only lose credibility when its obvious that your an idiot by incorrectly spelling the same word over and over as opposed to making a quick reply and not checking your spelling or grammer or contractions
