FS: OEM SL65 Wheels and Tires, Super Cheap! Read Inside!
Hi,
For sale I have a set of OEM SL65 wheels, which I want to sell to buy myself a nice set of forged wheels. I found the wheels I want to buy here on the forum, they are $2,000 plus shipping. If anyone wants the SL65 wheels, 19 inch, comp gray for a steal now is the time. These wheels come with tires included and mounted.
I will sell these for $2,000 plus shipping or local pickup.
I'm only selling the wheels for so cheap because the I forged wheels the other seller is selling is something I wanted to get new. Let me know if you are interested this is a steal for my wheels and it will make everyone happy. There is no loosing party. If the I forged wheels sell, and I loose out of the deal I will be still selling these but for much more.
Tires have about 75% - 80% life left in them sizes are as follows:
FRONT - 255/35-19
REAR - 285/30-19

No the tire marks are not from my car.
The money can be sent to me so that you can stay protected, I will then send the money for the other wheels.

Just offered this guy $1800 plus shipping and he sends one back saying the price is now $2500. WTF The OP is $2000???? Flake of a seller! Not trustworthy at all! Buyers beaware!

I don't need your low ball offer anyway, for $1800 you can go buy yourself some used repos of these wheels without tires. So stop bashing me and keep driving on your old wheels.

Sometimes doing something nice and giving a good price is just too good to be true and people start acting like some of you guys. I can't believe how rude some people can be, and how hard it is for some to understand that I don't want to sell my wheels for a low price and have to add money to get the other wheels on my car with tires.
To clarify the situation and get the story straight.
A member here on the forum had posted his wheels up for sale, when I saw the wheels and how great of a price they were, I decided to give my wheels up with tires to have the other ones with tires as well. However in his thread he went down on price to $2000 not mentioning it is for the wheels only. He recently moved out of Chicago and left the wheels here at a local rim shop. When I PM him he told me that the price is for the wheels only, and the rims dont have the tires on them, and that I would have to go and buy tires for around $900. He later told me that he can sell me his used tires for $600 and that I would have to pay for mounting and balancing. I did not know this when I posted up my thread about my wheels, this is why I apologized to everyone with strong interest that sent me a PM.
I don't want to pick up the price and get the whole amount I decided I would pick it up only $500 and the rest I would cover out of pocket. I don't different wheels I'm happy with the ones I have it's just that when I saw the other ones, I realized they are the same wheels I wanted to buy back a couple months new, and with this deal it was something that I could not pass up. I figured giving you a good deal on my wheels and getting a good deal on the other ones would make all 3 parties happy.

Regardless of the story, $2500.00 is a good price for these wheels, with tires. As long as they're in good shape.

The whole point here is Benz-O-rama he posted the wheels for $2000, and I am sure no one put a gun to his head, then he gets offers from several members and tells them he has upped the price to $2500. Now I am pretty positive if you went to McDonalds and was the told a cheesburger was $5 even though the menu says $1 you would be like WTF! It just goes to show character and trust. If anyone sends this guy $2500, chances are you will get an email saying he now wants $3000 and where to send the additional money.

I was just simply stating that even at $2500.00 it's a good deal. The OP should delete all of his threads and just start over with a simple for sale post, asking $2500.00
