Ok so here it is:
Monday we will be doing a test on the stand alone TCU line pressure increase. This is just as a quick test to make sure all preforms well, I expect it will. The test will be done on a 100% stock AMG CLS55. However I don't think it will speed up the shifts, but it will make them more firm. In turn it should help reduce heat and wear on the transmission under hard acceleration.
Its coming very soon you can count on that. Not to mention it may very well work with other AMG's. I'm running it right now in my C55, but my test is flawed from doing the Blue top valves mod.
Also note: If your cars trans is slipping at gear change. this may not cure that as the clutches might be bad.
I will tell you this though. My trans was slipping from to much power before I upgraded to the Blue top valves and installed the first stand alone line pressure TCU. After I did both of those mods my trans was no longer slipping.
Most 2005 and newer E55 (date slightly unknown) have the blue top valves so just maybe the TCU line pressure increase might do the trick.
I will have more on Monday.

Its Monday now. At some point today I will be at dyno-Comp with my bro's CLS55 for the line pressure TCU test. We will see what happens.
EDIT: I will also check to see if there is a stall speed increase.

You guys are all aware that Kleemann has been doing standalone (i.e. not bundled with a mandatory ECU tune) EGS/TCU tuning for all 5-spd MB vehicles for quite some time, right?
stevebez mentions it in post #7 - additionally, there should be a vid around here somewhere, as Jakpro uses a Kleemann-tuned TCU in his "my MHP nightmare thread" for the back-to-back video comparison between his two TCU's.
It's also under 800 bucks for a full TCU tune... IMHO, pretty reasonably priced.
Anyway... I'm sure MBH will work out a suitable solution as well. Carry on.
