Any one deal with Dyno comp?
As the title states,
was wondering if any members have done business with this group and are they as good as I hear? (ecu/tcu tuning, parts etc)
Thanks

A+ shop.
Quick story about what they do for customers:
Before I started MBH Motorsports, now an R&D devision fo Dyno-Comp. I was heading to the track and noticed my car was missing and running rough. I called Richard the owner of Dyno-Comp. Told his what was going on. He then left dinner with his wife and drive 30miles to my house to check out the problem. Turns out I have a loose coil pack wire.
Not only has Richard gone above and beyond that night, but he tends to knock off some labor hours, dyno time etc.. to People who share the same passion for cars and racing.
So much so that Richard has become a personal friend of mine, and we hang out outside of work. He is just about the only guy who I will let work on my car.
What sets Dyno-Comp above some others is... Some shops say they will make a situation right if something happens or goes amiss. Dyno-Comp 100% of the time WILL make it right.
Richard is just about the best Dyno tuner in the US. There have been countless times cars from other shops have been on his dyno dynamics dyno that have had problems. Rich is very good at finding and solving these problems. I dont think he likes to do that, but its something he feels he has to.
in short, I'm lucky to have Dyno-Comp in my back yard here in AZ. For people coming out of state, it would be worth the trip.

Went there yesterday. Heck, I go there all the time. Rich is a true source of knowledge on tuning the cars and the staff is so helpful. Very nice. I had to cancel twice this week and came back in yesterday for installation of stuff and they were great and installed my stuff in no time.
I would 100% recommend them to anyone.

I have not had any work done there, but I have spoken to Richard (owner) a couple of times, and he was unbelievably helpful on the phone. He took the time to explain a lot of details and options I was considering. Very nice guy

Sometimes Ken Rudy and myself wait forever to go to lunch when waiting for Rich. So.. Please dont call him around the lunch hour, My stomach will start eating itself.
On a real note: He knows his stuff, and just about knows what works and what doesn't. And as mentioned above, he will take the time to tell you.
Also If you go in for tuning or install work. Bring a six pack of those Mojito drinks for him. He'll get a kick out of it, kind of an inside joke. Whenever we go out on a Friday night he always has a Mojito at some point. Tell him "Hooley said you like Mojitos."
