Granted hideous hood scoop but the RENNtech mods are
Lorinser work is a bit gawdy but a little black paint to tame that chrome would do wonders...

Pretty hideous work done aesthetically to an SL. That hood scoop basically makes the car look $50+K cheaper, i.e reminds me of an 4th gen Camaro SS.
The rest of that kit is fug too, the side skirts are horrible, with those cheesy vents and all.
Bet it sure is faast though.

Side skirts are horrible. You think the hood scoop would be a little more integrated than that especially coming from Renntech being that it is a functional piece.

That car is beautiful so close to perfect....-><- this close to perfect....but...
The hood scoop would look awesome if it did not have the center bridge to make it look like a nostril...if it were a flat opening like this it would look sweet as it is low profile and nicely contoured (bottom right HS008):
The hood scoop is feeding the green HKS air filter as prodigy mentioned look at the mag feature.
I do not like the chrome scoops as everyone mentioned and those wheels would look great with a polished lip and the black centers.
A small car like this does not need $15,000 worth of stereo..
Someone with alot of $$$ owned this car..wow...I bet its ridiculously fast!

Look at the pictures from the Luxury & Exotics photo shoot w/out the hideous hood scoop, the car looks 100 times better, and I even like the chrome wheels from that photo shoot better than the black ones currently on it. I bet it sure is fast though....

As stupid as the hood scoop looks its functional... I know, it lame. If or when I get top mount intercoolers, some hood mods might be in order. However I would get a new custom hood made if I'm going all out with TMICs.

With that color red screaming for attention, the Cylon hood scoop is way over the top. Just because you can afford it, doesn't mean you should do it. Taste is a dish served best cold.
