VIDEOS: Whine, Supra, Turbo Buicks, 996tt and E55s
Me on street tires vs a 455 big block buick gp turbo and vs a buick regal t type with upgraded turbo. bot allegedly mid 11sec cars. had to play catch up because of a crappy launch and ended up beating the t type by about a length and then he hit the brakes. beat the big block car by more.

All of the following runs are with DRs

BPU Twin Turbo 97 Supra also on drag radials, BPU 2001 996 Porsche Twin Turbo. And some random silver E55, not sure what he had beside visual upgrades - said it was stock.

Nice runs - I wondered what those cars making the left-turns thought when you scrubbed your tires before "staging" at the light... lol.
Most likely exhaust, raised boost, filters, etc. A BPU Supra runs a Boost Cut Controller, raises the boost with a boost controller, frees up 40rwhp with a 3inch downpipe and runs an exhaust and it already looking at 400+rwhp. The 996 911 can get a ecu tune, exhaust, and intake and already be pumping 400AWHP as well, the Supra most likely weights around 3600lbs and the 911 even lighter so their weight helps them as well.
If these cars had APU upgradessuch as upgraded turbos and fuel and retune, pretty much 95% of cars on the road are devoured. Single turbo Supras hit 650+rwhp on an relatively small (for the Supra community) 67mm turbo. There are quite a bit pumping 800-10xxrwhp. As for the 996 911, a K24/20g setup that uses the stock manifold and costs around 10k including the 5 bar fuel pressure regulator and retune will do low to mid 11s all day and trap 125mph, all while making 550AWHP on pump gas and past 600AWHP and torque on race. A 67mm Single Turbo Supra and K24/20g 996 are street monsters, their turbo setup allows for early spool and great midrange and top end. Scary part about the P-Car is the hole shot launches with that setup, I saw that one K24/20g car got a 0-60 of 3.03 and a 1/4 mile of 10.70s. He added other parts such as intercoolers, upgraded injectors but the stats are insane...
0-60 3.03s on PS2's
Quarter Mile: 10.70s Best Trap 134.61 mph
60-130 MPH 6.33s
Back to the thread though...
The E55 is a total beast, the Supra and 911 are street monsters and deserve quite a bit of respect, the E55 though I see as an amazement in its own, how else can you have such comfort, space, and yet run with a bolton Supra and 911, 2 top dogs well known to enthusiasts. The E55 with its combo of torque, comfort and styling is a great car. Way to represent ProdigyMB! More amazing is how there are quite a few low low 11s E55s.

Hehe this is between 1am and 2am. I love that stretch as there is absolutely nowhere cars could come out of. So it's as safe as it can get - if there is such a thing.

BPU record is 11.3, but I think his car is 11.5-11.7. he told me that it traps 123.x
i ended beating it by about 3 lenghts and the 996tt was same 3-4. i also had a passenger the entire time. with just me in it car weighs 4350 (Englishtown NHRA Scale) and the other guy was ~220 so i was at 4570lbs race weight that night.

, great runs none the less for all 3 cars.
If only that weight can go down on the E55 but its whole purpose is "Comfort Power" with passenger and trunk space , two things those 2 beasts can't do as good as the E55. Your car is awesome, I saw the pics a couple weeks back, one of the best E55s I've seen.
on the last run i beat the supra by 3 and the porsche by 3.5 car lengths. on the prior runs i was getting the porsche by 1.5-2 lenghts. i beat the buick gp by maybe 4 cars and the buick regal t type by 1 car.
i don't do to much rolls as that takes out a bit of a fun factor. in a drag race you have the anticipation, the warmup, the reaction time, the launch, . vs a roll is just a showcase of power and no true way of "starting the race". but to answer your question my car is faster then those cars from a roll as well...
