What has this board come to? VRUS is banned. Vadim is in hiding. And now i hear that the VRP 4 spline pulleys have been giving way, so how is a client to get some customer service? I suppose contact VRP directly, but that sucks.

There's been a lot of "under-the-cover" incidents that have taken place specifically in the past year and a half or so that were very damaging to VRP. Almost everyone knows about it but no one talks about it publicly. PM, apparently, has been the way to go.

Your worst nightmare...
I have not heard from VRP neither, I am sure there is a legitimate reason for this... I am sure if you try to reach victor and explain your frustration you might get somewhere.
I am in no means a poster boy for VRP, but just a fanatic of their product and admire their research and development for this community.

Honestly, I didn't start this thread to get a new head count of who is owed what. No disrespect, since I am also in that pack.
My intent was to see where the E55k R&D is going to be coming from? For all of their faults, both VRUS and Vadim thought me a great deal and were instrumental in getting our rides to where we are today. Now, if they can't save face, who do we turn to? Personally, I have no defect issues, so no worries. But, I know a number of people are stuck with Pullies that they may or may not be confident in. This issue was brought up even with VRP's first rendition and we never came to a consensus. From what i see being offered by all the tuners, the "re-making" of a stock pulley (ala ASP) seems to be the trend. I wonder why?

Voctor's account is banned at this time because there is a dispute with internet brands. As far as pulley issues go, after 2 of the old version of the vrp pulley came apart VRP recalled over 40 units and sent out new updated replacements out to every customer that had the old version. Contacting Victor is hard to do but mainly because VPR is not his only and primary buisness. His full time job is software design. I am deal with him alot and it is very hard to get a hold of him, but leave a message or email him and he will get backj to you.

You turn to vendors smart enough to stay away from using the forum as a way to interact with customers. Advertise, sponsor, fine. But many vendors on this forum have been character assasinated for having a customer problem dragged across these threads and posts.

hmm. so what?? Why does some people on this board have to wait for a long time because he is busy. We are still people that are interested to pay money for the products, yes, may be we are not ballerz enough comparing to Lambo's and Bently's, but it is not how you run business.

I suspect that what we're seeing is a result of typical small business problems, especially those of small businesses with high average ticket size and the aftermarket car business in general.
It's always one more week, and $1,000 more dollars for aftermarket parts. It's just a pain getting them from the machinist, then the powerder coaters, and R&D in general. I've been on the vendor side and let's be real. This isn't PhD work here, just people who decided to turn there love of cars into a business.
Bigger businesses can avoid that problem due to higher cash flow and to some extent better standing with banks but I personally don't think that what we are seeing here is a problem with scammers but rather finances.
So for me it seems that instead of destroying vendors that are known for pushing the envelope and who are behind some of the fastest 55k's around we should be waiting and hoping for the best. It only makes the situation worse.
Now if I was owed $3k then I might be singing a different tune but bottom line: It's a economic problem, not the products themselves. If they could they would pump out 100 items a day.
This is why I got out of the parts business myself...

His products are still the best value you can find anywhere.
