More HP gains and new dyno #`s

5-6 six of us forum members met up at the Texas mile. Afterwards, Shardul and I snuck over to Kurt`s dyno @ LSX performance ,to pre-scout the big Eurocharged dyno day coming up next weekend.

My last dyno was 500 RWHP, with a Jerry /LET flash tune. I sent those files to Jerry and he threw a little more magic at it several weeks ago. I could feel the gains by seat of the pants but wanted to dyno test again.

Traction light is in my face in several gears now and not even at full throttle. I thought the damn light was broken but then I saw the white smoke boil off the tires deep in second gear.. The nitto invos are taking a heaving beating but still holding up at 10K..

New custom numbers are 520 RWHP and 581 Torque. 180 ASP Pulley, LET tune, 80 mm tb and basic cooling mods are all it takes to break 500 rwhp and 581 TQ..

Side Note: Got to see the new LET /Eurocharged LT headers freshly installed on a E55. Very nice and the owner said it only took him a few hours on his back to do the install. He had no cats but left the resonator and mufflers in place. Car was quiet but became verbal at WOT..

Awesome results. Besides the tire issues a few of us suffered, yesterday was very fun. I managed to limp over to Victoria at 55mph and got a new set of front tires, Kurt if you're reading, thanks a lot for the help.

Eventually, but want to see the cars best ET on street tires first. Just the way I drive it daily. Making 50 more HP and a bunch more TQ than my run from a year ago.. Should be fun.

We just dropped out of the 90`s this weekend but Track was not open to public today. I looked and was hoping. Good D/A here today..

PS, Have an 82mm kit sitting on my counter and waiting to get installed..

jangy Sweet!! Thanks for sharing. Looks like you are happy with LET.
Yes, I am about 1K miles away from LEt/eurocharged, so really do not know thier shop or personel. I just know Jerry from his fly downs and his devotion to all my custom needs.. They should just call it Jerrycharged ..lol

very strong CL.

I have the same newer tune as you do.... and torque is much improved over the first ECU flash.

how did your IAT's read at peak HP?

I have the new LET flash tune plus one you might say. Made 500 rwhp from the flash and then Jerry made one more flash a day later.. Plan to custom dyno this weekend and add some more power above the curve early on..

It was 73-76 ambient and we used Sharduls` data log for both our cars. Both our systems seemed to be damn near identical on recovery, starting IAT`s and peak IAT`s.. Remember, on a dyno there is not much air flow , just a small fan or two blowing on the front.

I made two quick back to back runs only.. From what Shardul told me (correct me if I am mistaken Shardul).. First run IAT were at 89 deg. on the start and finished at 132 deg after a long 8-9 second pull. Second pull , 3-5 minutes after first pull, start IAT was 89-91 and finished at 147 deg but that was only the last 6300 rpm range.

Sharduls 7 pulls were all equal. start would be 89-91 and finish at 145-147 deg. Again, just a quick spike above 140 at the last 6200-6400 rpm range.
