How fast is the SLK55 AMG?
Yesterday on my way to the market with my wife we ran into a SLK55 AMG. It's the only second one I've ever seen around.
We were just driving on the highway minding my own business, all of a sudden a SLK zoom pass us, a second later a rice-out S2000 zoom by. They both slow down and line up again. I was like hell no, they can't have all the fun by themselves. Before I was catch up with them, they both took off. I just slam on the gas, and suprise, I blew by them both at about 100 mph. The S2000 quickly get off at the very next exit, and the SLK stay the heck back. I just laugh the whole way to the market while the wife screaming in my ears.
Oh yeah, this was all happen near by my second house in Mexico.

It's funny that always happens to me when I go to Mexico for a weekend to pick up some fresh home made tortillas. I'm wondering maybe the SLK just has the N/A 5.5 without the SC?

SLK55 is a quick car & a lot of fun to drive. My mom has one, so i've had some decent time behind the wheel. It is very well balanced & easy to slide....but it is no match for an E55 for power. We have wayyy more torque.

We should start a thread on whose wife has screamed that loudest when we randomly find our selves in Mexico. Mine screams at the windshield first then me second. Volume is tied to speedo readings.

Mine is all for it and in fact video taped the runs against Alan last time we were in Mexico. Then again she isn't my wife so maybe that's why she isn't screaming yet!

Yeah, just wait until I get my long tube header, 180mm pulley, and 82mm tb in.
