What broken problems have you had? In terms of "worst", what else should I EXPECT? A fourth fuel sender unit, worn camshaft, worn camshaft lifters, another worn camshaft adjuster and airmatic failures, tranny valve body?

I'll call BS on that one......
Bought my car about 3 years ago with 25K on the odometer....it's now at around 47,000 miles. I've had PLENTY of "opportunities" to pay for repairs in that time period.
This time of year (when it's cold and dreary) I always tend to get down on the car for needing so much attention, but once the warmer weather arrives and the car is all cleaned-up, looking sharp and wrinkling the pavement with all of that glorious torque..... I tend to forget those quibbles.
...feels like a bit of a dysfunctional relationship at times.

2.) They want to brag about how much they DON'T drive their cars.
I personally drive the heck out of mine!! Almost 103,000 miles, and planning to pile on many more!

172,877 on the '04 E55, still going as strong as ever. Was trying to sell it to buy another vehicle for my limo business but no one will touch it with the mileage. But hey, I love the car and wouldn't mind keeping her forever.

2004 with 86K. Replaced AirMatic shock and that's it.
I have only owned it for 6,000 miles and 5 months. The PO replaced about $8K worth of components before I took ownership. You could say I purchased a "re-conditioned" E55.

This is the highest mileage E55 I think.... at 172K just not worth to sell it. If you maintain the car properly should make 250K.

Now on 281000 kms (175000miles), smoking on start-up, some smoking on hard accelleration, think it is overfuelling(?), no blue smoke.

I think I am one of the only idiots to drive an E63 on daily 100 + mile commutes. So I have over 116,400 miles on my E63 and I love it.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of 120k on my 2005 E55. I bought it used on St Patrick's day this year with just about 112k on it. Nothing too bad so far - has a few of the typical issues for these cars - but that's one reason we're all here right??

2007 E63, 91,xxx miles. just replaced Conductor Plate, keyless door handles are wonky and working when they want to, airbags, bushings, ball joints all making squeeky noises.
also interior creaks when going over any uneven surface, probably due to the pano roof.
previous owner spent 10k at the dealer not to long ago. all they did was brakes, rotors, battery, fluids. i pickup the car then the conductor plate dies. also i have a gerbel in my heater motor that comes and goes.

Granted I just got my E63 in June but my commute is 85 miles round trip. Did I mention it's my only car? 92K miles. Had to have the ball joints done but they never had so 92K miles, not too bad.
Cars that sit for a while are the ones that need attention. Drive it!!!

W211 E55 Wagon, E46 M3
who's got over 200k?
I drive mine regularly but don't have anywhere too far to go most of the time. It gets driven weekly but I'm only averaging 6k miles a year (49k so far). Cars need to be driven and run hard once in awhile.

My dad used to say "you gotta redline frequently to clear the cobwebs outta that exhaust." He drove a supercharged De Tomaso Pantera GT5-S.
