It's hard to comprehend, but it's sad to say that he isn't the first one and probably won't be the last. I think part of the MO is that these guys talk to Vadim, and he promises big things at a fraction of the cost of other well known tuners. In a perfect world this might work, but as everyone knows when working on Mercedes' is that problems almost always arise, combined with little cash flow and growing debt, and things don't get completed, excuses are made, etc, etc. Customer calls, Vadim gives them a sob story, says he really wants to make it right, promises to deliver, just needs time, stick with me, blah, blah, blah. Customer is already out big money, and doesn't want to send the car elsewhere, so it stays, and stays, and stays.... rinse & repeat.

This is very sad to say but the same reasoning applies here as a direct parallel to why battered women have trouble leaving their abusive husbands...think about it from a pure psycological standpoint we can draw a very similar analogy similar in this entire mess...just amazing!

The way things are going, I don't know if the thread is ready to stop? Who knows what's going to happen. Things could turn 180 again or even 360 one more time

I will not post anymore until I post dyno numbers followed by drag times and speeds at Fontana this W/E.

If it does not break into 500+rwhp or into the 10's at 130mph in the 1/4 then I'm moving to back to BMW or Audi since they are easier to mod.

Except for the gear shifter coming loose which was an easy fix, the car felt twice as strong as when I dropped it off in mid-December of last year.

What happened to all the missing parts that you mentioned earlier?

Also, why not test it at Famoso in 3 weeks for better results? Many cars will be there, which will allow you a very good comparison to other cars running on the same track, same day, same conditions... this will also provide you a good chance for a good analysis.

If it doesn't work out, why not give another tuner a chance? Powerchip is not the only tuner on the planet

I think Robert should meet me at Sacramento in a couple of weeks. This will give you time to work out all the kinks in your car for Famoso. If you're interested I'll be there, by myself but there...haha.
