What color car for the desert?
Hey guys. Wondering which color is better for Arizona. I want black but think it will be too much work keeping it clean all the time just as I have with my blue e320. Do you guys think it makes a difference as far as paint in the hot sun making the black fade faster and the silver not? I either want black or silver so please help me out with your guises opinions! Thanks for the input!

Look around you on the freeway in Az sometime. There's a reason why you see mostly light colors like white, silver, champagne, etc. More important to your comfort is the interior color. Regardless of the exterior, get a light color interior like stone or ash.

voted for silver, but I want to say pink 
j/k. White or Silver is the most common colors in the middle east, so cars won't heat up as much as black/gray colors.

In Dubai they try to only have white cars. Keeps them looking clean when the sand gets blown over them, and they dont get nearly as hot as the black ones.

Black is the fastest, lol? I did not know color made a car faster! I'm now leaning towards silver about 90% and because there are a lot of them out there it is probably the best choice. The price is also cheaper because they are more abundant, so it works both ways. My next question is: I have not seen a silver amg with anything but black interior, are there other interior color options that I have not seen? thx.

black is the best looking fastest color with the best interior color options. ask yourself this question. do you want the amg that everyone else has or do you want the amg that everyone else wants? thats the one to buy

I'm fairly sure that you'll only be able to get a dark interior (either uniform charcoal or two tone charcoal/blue or charcoal/red). Just take advantage of the tinting laws and go as dark as possible - and it may be in your best interest to make "vented seats" a non-negotiable option.

Okay guys! I have decided on silver. My question now is, I see a lot of different silver cars being labeled as "brilliant silver" or "iridium silver", is there a difference or are they the same?

What color would you go with if not black? If one takes out the 'always have to wash' issue with black and possibly the hot sun, black and silver are to different looks. Hard to make a decision unless one has enough money to buy a black and a silver AMG.
