Corvette ZR1 - Sick, took a peek tonight...
0-60 3.3
1/4 mile - 11.1
Carbon fiber all over...
Looked at one tonight in person for the first time, I must say that is some sweet power!
Wow...
I'm just not a fan of that stupid plastic window on the hood...that shows off the supercharger
Poor, redneck attempt at a Murci/Gallardo/F430 engine bay viewing window IMO.

Poor attempt at a Murci/Gallardo/F430 engine bay viewing window IMO.Seen a few in different states as well and they look pretty good in person - wheel design is hideous though, carbon touches are beautiful - but the interior is the same (cheap and lacking) and at the end of the day it is still just an.... American made Corvette - No thanks !
Sorry not a fan of American cars period (Viper, Vette, etc).... Have driven them all
Take this with a grain of salt (what do I know anyway) - I just feel they lack "substance" if you will....

Side note, your IS-F compared to an E55? interested to hear your thoughts!

Speed from a dig, the E55 was faster thats for sure with the TQ advantage. Up top, Id like to see a stock E55 vs. the ISF. I think it would still edge it out but the 8 speeds would play into the race holding the rpm sweetspot situation with the gearing. The ISF shifts very fast for a traditional auto slush box...
Handling, the ISF is stronger with a better steering and brake feel but the suspension can be too stiff from some. On a road with even the most minor imperfections, the ISF can bust your kidneys. Im used to it since I mod all my cars so it doesnt bug me so much but others do complain.
I just cant completely remember what a stock E55 feels like but up to and beyond a 1/4 mile it will beat the ISF IMHO. On a road course I think things would differ.
Its an interesting car that Im warming up to- heavier understeer than my 3 performers but thats ok; this was Lexus' first run at a true AMG/M competitor and I think they can only get better. Mine is white and the double stack pipes while hideous still, are not so bad in this color. You get BBS forged 19 inch stock wheels on Brembos and a pretty aggressive body with flared hood and fenders. The exhaust note over 3500 rpms is lively and throaty.
Sorry about the OT.
