LET/Eurocharged Stage 1 Installed w/ Dyno!
Hello!
Just wanted to discuss a recent upgrade as of early this week.
The vehicle is a 2003 E55. The vehicle seemed pretty healthy stock, going through a IC Pump replacement in 2007 with another Bosch unit.
Tuning was done at the Eurocharged shop location near Chicago. Thankfully, my frield was kind enough to drive the vehicle from Southeast MI for a Monday appointment.
First, a baseline dyno: 350.4hp
I was pretty disappointed with the baseline numbers. I heard the DynoDynamics dyno is a "heart-breaker" but didn't expect it to be a ball buster. Car felt fine, with no dead spots in acceleration, but the number alone was pretty alarming.
Tuning consisted of the following:
172mm pulley system
LET Heat Exchanger
CM30 Pump
Custom LET Tuning on Dyno
I'm happy to say the HP change is very satisfying
New Dyno after tuning: 422.9hp
Best part of this tune is the upper RPM power pickup - the Power curve does not drop off like stock setting. Highway pull is much better.
Overall, highly recommended! Definite improvement in power feel, especially in the highway. ESP goes off in 2nd gear starts/pulls.
I would like to take it to the track to get a good feeling of Trap Times. I'm curious with my initial baseline numbers if my vehicle has been running low in HP all this time and I'm now at factory e55 power. I'm thinking my reading was just low, as I've done multiple pulls stock against other vehicles, and outcomes are consistent with others on this board (stock e55 vs. stock 996T, E55 started pulling good end of 2nd gear into 3rd, about a car into start of 4th. A 570HP SC Mustang Cobra that pushed into high 11's was about 3/4 a car ahead from 40-140 mph).
Either way you put it, great gains from a Stage 1!!!
Thank you LET/Eurocharged! I can't wait to show my local shop that sells Kleemann and VRP.
The inputs/feedback from the board would be great!

I bet your friend had a lot of fun driving your car back.. Probally out looking for an E55 that he can get Eurocharged..

something that can use more power
I think your baseline numbers are right on. I also dyno'd on their Ball buster and got exactly 350rwhp stock. Then they flashed the car with tune only and I was at 390rwhp. 422 with tune and pulley, means the pulley made 30rwhp or so, which I think is about right. Now with the HE/pump it will probably make more power in the real world with cold air passing thru the HE. I plan on adding the pulley and HE/pump soon. So would you consider the before and after a significant difference in power on the butt dyno?

Looks to be from 396rwtq to 451rwtq - however the most impressive gain is on the top end.
He took it easy driving it back, as it was a late night for him on the expressway. I let him really try it today (and thru tomorrow), and by his expressions on some highway runs, he's VERY impressed. He thinks it's on par with a Stage 1 997T he drove around extensively.
Phew! Thats's great to know!
VERY BIG difference. Pulls like a freight train up top. Drove an E60 M5 on high speed runs, and I think the E55 will now definitely pull on the M5, where before I was certain the E55 fell flat going into triple digits
Thanks! I recommend to anybody wanting a big boost in performance for a great price. Everything seems better with the car. Throttle response (although a bit bigger jerk when the SC engages, but that's expected), and power across all RPM. Top end increase is insane (as you can tell by the graphs on the delta).

I am very glad you are enjoying your newly found performance from Eurocharged products with a Eurocharged (Tony) tuned ECU. If you have any questions please feel free to let us know anytime. Let me know what everyone says at those other shops when you lay it down on there cars.

Nice gains. As for the baseline, don't worry about it. Every dyno is going to be a little different and the gains is what really matters....which you got plenty of.
Any plans on hitting the track?

As additional info:
from my friend- hardware upgrades yielded about 50hp without tune. I guess the multiple dyno runs for tuning potentially heat soaked the vehicle, so his gut/non-technical instinct is that the final numbers are conservative.
Only the track will tell!
