Sorry for the off topic, but has any Bi-Turbo V12 breached the 133mph mark?
If not, does this make Alan's car the fastest documented Mercedes?

Congrats Hammer Down!!!
Those a re very impressive times...what seems to be more impressive and I take nothing away from your runs is Alans run. 10.8 at 133 is nothing to be hiding off. Come out, come out where ever you are!!....Surprised he has not chimed in and posted that he just shattered the Non nos E55 record.

11.04x @ 130 mph ---> 1400 ft DA
Assuming the run from yesterday was Alan's car, and he ran
10.8x @ 133 mph ---> 230 ft DA
Then it is very clear that a DA difference of only 1200 ft, even when close to zero, does make a noticeable difference. Furthermore, if our assumptions are correct, then we get a situation where the same car, same mods, same driver, same time of day, same tires, same launch, but different DA (on a different day) resulting in different results.
Alan has been saying this for a while, and even before Alan, Juicee and I have been screaming this fact for much longer. We've provided so many timeslips from at least 4 tracks of same cars running in different DA causing a great variance.

^^All we have to see is the slip to put it to rest, LOL...tell Hammer Down to post the slip of this run and it should clearly state it.
I have no doubt it is a 10.80..Wooohoo.

Hey guys, yes it was my car but i don't want to post in hammer's thread and take away from his great accomplishment. I didn't plan on posting but hammer made a spectacular run and I didn't want to be selfish by asking him not to post. I'll start a new thread soon to give my props.
Once again hammer nice run!

I got to see it 1st hand, my thought when I saw him pulling away out of the blocks I was like holy *****, never before have I felt like I was standing still in my car as I was accelerating and I didn't have a bad run 12.09@121.18. If I didn't trip the ESC on my launch it would have been closer 8

A Prius because I'm green
It's hard to see from the video if the other car ran 10.80 or 11.80 since the second digit of ET was hidden but please note that if that car was indeed Alan's car, and it did run 10.80s, then this should put the DA argument to rest. I believe Alan's last run was:
11.4x @ 130 mph ---> 1400 ft DA
Assuming the run from yesterday was Alan's car, and he ran
10.8x @ 133 mph ---> 230 ft DA
Then it is very clear that a DA difference of only 1200 ft, even when close to zero, does make a noticeable difference. I agree DA matters very much so and every time Alan and I go to the track we pay attention to it to see what effects if any it has. I have noticed that it effects the car a lot. I was there as well and my car picked up 4 mph on the back half from my previous runs. The car just felt a lot stronger but my DR's have a nail in it so I didn't have any clean runs. I have just too much power for the street tires to handle.
Congrats to both Jack and Alan for having awesome runs and beating their personal bests. It's always a pleasure to watch friends and fellow MB owners run down the track.

Outstanding run!!!, Thanks for showing the stock potential of the E55. (celestial body alignment or not) keep up the good work.

Congrats, nice trap!!! I agree that stock means down to the tires but others have differing opinions.
I believe that run gives Alan the fastest Mercedes ever title (with or without nitrous) or at least one of the fastest. 133mph?!?!?!

sick power,your car has to be putting down 530whp 600tq for those numbers,ever dyno it?was this on race gas?
you trapped 4mph faster than my 180 pulley car,I mean my car was 100% healthy,dynod it and tracked it the next day with the same gas/conditions and you just blew away a 480whp car.

Out Of Control!!
I know everyone has the opinion on "stock" so that's why I changed my sig to "stock powered". At one time before I went 118 everyone kept telling me to put the stock 18's back on and you reach 11's cause their lighter than your 19" Maya's and I said no I want to stick with the 19's and try to do it the way the car runs on a daily basis, then I started to really learn how to launch my car on the 19" street tires and I up the air pressure and went 118 then the next time out I went 119 and no one said anything about "stock" at that time. So if the 19's are said to be bad for drag racing wouldn't that put me at a disadvantage? Now that I ran 120 & 121 (on DR's) and I understand that the DR's aid in acceleration but I only picked up 1.9mph over my best on street tires, is it the "120" that has people are saying "well techincally your not stock" Ahmad don't get me wrong I'm not coming at you its more of a conversation with you waiting for your response.
