Ok hold on while I cruise the streets looking for him. Its not like I have a life, career, or smoking hot girlfriend. In fact, I'll leave right now and just drive the neighborhood waiting for him.
Actually, I'll rent out billboards and post a message saying that I'm looking for a white M5 to race above 120mph. Does that sound good?

I'm Wooderson, the chillest man ALIVE! I was just being sarcastic bro, sorry to ruffle your feathers like that. You just made a smart *** comment IMO. But yes, I do understand that the M5 will probably win at those speeds. P!!

Don't be sorry TheVazha. Some M drivers are too wrapped up in all the m5board videos that show M5s and M6s beating F16's and will assume an E55 will always lose at higher speeds. You won the race you ran and that's all that matters. Ignore the comments about running in the twisties or racing over 120, etc etc etc etc.

Almost happened today...
On my way to a buddies house to watch the Skins game. Pulled up next to an M6 on the highway doing about 80. I dropped it into 3rd and goosed the throttle a few times, just so he knew I wasn't in an SL500. He gave me the thumbs up, got in the slow lane and faded into the sea of Accords and Camrys.
Oh well.

El oh El! My roomie has a 2009 Rover Sport Supercharged. Her daddy bought the the MOST expensive fully banged out one Rover makes. With all due respect to the forum members who own one, the car is a POS. A Cayenne GTS or ML63 would've been my first choice for that money. I'd even take a Jeep Cherokee SRT8 over a Rover!

I raced a M5 stock above 120 mph. Had a big thread about that. That so called "top end" is not what every1 thinks it is.

I also want to point out that on the low rolls of 10-20mph my torque never seemed to destory the M5 either from the start as clearly seen on the video. I have traction issues but the M5 had slight tracion issues also.
All in all very fair and close race. From a DEAD stop is where the 55 seems to pull hardest on the M5. Any roll is going to be close and neither car can get a full car length away from each other.

The "above 120" comments I always read are really kinda silly. Going over 120 on public roads is not practical or safe at all. Percentage wise I accelerate from <10mph to 50-60 way more often then I do from 60-120+ for example. I'm sure that's true of almost everyone here as well.
I'll take the torque and mid range hp all day long.
