New to AMG, today had my first street race against an M5. I assume it was stock because I had a good car length on him after a couple of blocks. I rolled up on him at a fresh green light and he knew it was on. After about three seconds of cruising at 10mph-12mph we both punched it. I had the car in second gear and it seemed like it whined forever but I launced like never before. It was AWSOME! This car really is like a pig, it just wants more and more. Very sick. Sorry, just had to share!

E60, white with the old school AC Schnitzer's. It looked nice too. I'm still learning the car. It seems street races dont last very long in this car considering after a couple of seconds of WOT you're going 100mph+!!

Its nuts, every review I read on the car was true. Seriously the BEST bang for your buck and without a doubt the funnest car I've owned.

Nice run.... and your comment about the E55 being a pig fits more than just the profile you spoke to. I called my E55 a pig because of its handling characteristics.

Haha, so many reasons for it being a pig! Greedy too, on the gas and air it breathes, it cant get enough!

Just drive through Beverly Hills, there are plenty of them around. It seems like every 5th car on the road here is an M5 or M6. The scarry part is that half are bieng driven by little Beverly High kids.

Yeah they do sound good tho, but cant sound as nice as your SL at WOT. Or even a close to a stock SL63, at idle!!

If you tell someone you beat a m5 at a stop light and they tell you “well after 100mph it would pass you" then you show them my recent video vs a stock m5 and they will clearly see I proved that up top theory wrong!

In Beverly Hills, I find a LOT of Supercharged 500HP Range Rovers that think they are the next Ferrari Enzo. Sorry RR, but that extra 2 tons you're carrying around ain't helping even with 500HP.

El oh El! My roomie has a 2009 Rover Sport Supercharged. Her daddy bought the the MOST expensive fully banged out one Rover makes. With all due respect to the forum members who own one, the car is a POS. A Cayenne GTS or ML63 would've been my first choice for that money. I'd even take a Jeep Cherokee SRT8 over a Rover!

A beautiful M6 pulled up next to me yesterday, gave me a nice "thumbs up" but had no intention of throwing it down... I was ready, I am sure there are various reasons why he wasn't, surely the M6 would be stiff competition, no?

I have to say MB's and BMW's Super Sedans are awesome! E60 M5 & W211 E55 and E63 are amazing. Something truly badass about owning a comfortable 4 door beast that can easily put many sports cars to shame. The E55/E63 and E60 M5 should be at the top at the list of best sedans to ever hit our road(have to include the E39 M5 as well). Great run! If you don't mind, how much did you guys run up to? I ask because I know after 100mph, that 7-Spd and V10 can make up ground. M5s/M6s have great top end.
