VaderSS was short for Arch Vader. It was my call sign in the army. A gunner on a Cobra-H. The ‘SS’ stood for my 2000 Camaro SS.
Arch =Archangel…A high-ranking angel in medieval angelology.
Vader=obvious… Darth Vader
Put together made a super villain fighting for good…

I have to agree with you on Bob Glidden. I have an NHRA flag with lots of autographs on it. He's one of them. Have an old pic of my brother at least 30 years ago with Dyno Don. Another with me getting Shirley Muldowney's auto about 30 years ago as well. Good Times.

A character in the movie, Wedding Crashers, was Zachary "sack" Lodge. Anyway, I just picked "sack" and added 5000 = sack5000

Great thread!
My screen name is lame and my wife makes fun of it all the time....LOL! I was a hardcore bass fisherman that use to hit up many of the local tournaments. 2007 was the year I finally won a bass tournament and it felt equivalent to me hitting 10's. Who would ever have thought trying to catch 5 fricken fish over 12" would be so difficult LOL!

My screen name comes from a buddy in the Marine Corps. My real name is Robert Goddard and he always used to say that if I was a cheesy game show host, my name would be Bob Godd.

Out Of Control!!
I'm not normally the creative type and I don't usually think of catchy phrases. But in this case I was listening to the radio one day and heard Sammy Hagar singing "I Can't Drive 55" and I thought about how difficult it really is for me it to keep the speed down to that level. At that time I was thinking about ordering a new E55 and had been lurking around a few MB forums, thinking about what to use for a screen name, and it just came to me. Well, after all, I Can Drive 55 (E55, that is).

A Prius because I'm green
Boring and basic since it's my AMG. I wasn't sure if people would take me seriously with any of my military nick names. Some of those would be Chicken Skinz (also my call of duty name) and hot sauce! I'll leave the others overseas where they belong

I'm boring ... short version of my name - its really long and sooo many people cannot proouce it - so I cut it up.
It should be 997TTSPI... thats what I am dreaming of ... but would seem premature to use it before I had it!

2011 Ford Raptor, 2003 FX35, 2008 E63 AMG (Gone but not forgotten)
There are a bunch of things that I love, hiking, camping (winter), climbing, but I've never thought they were unique enough to identify me. I love to shoot, and I shoot often. I'm in a Police league in Northern Illinois and shoot competition year round, so I tend to gravitate to shooting inspired names. I usually go with "HKUSP" as that was the first pistol I bought, but that's getting old. I figured "shooter" was a better fit. Maybe once I purchase my long awaited AMG, I'll have something else I'm so passionate about it'll be worthy of screen name status.

Do you compete in shoot comps with your department are on your own?
