Brake Flush Cost
Got a question. As is usual when buying a used car, I went through the records to identify any deferred maintenance that needs catching up. The only item on this car was a brake fluid flush. I had a local well renowned indy shop perform the service along with mounting tires and an alignment. They charged $377.09 for the brake flush.
I am in shock.
I am under the impression changing the brake fluid on the 211 AMG is pretty much the same as any other Benz with SBC. Put the car on a lift, hook up the SDS, and bleed each corner. Yeah, it has two bleed nipples on the front calipers, so charge me an extra 10 minutes.
How much are y'all paying?

If you paid only ~$125, then you didn't get the entire job. For that price, they just hooked up a pressure bleeder and did all four corners of the car. Better than nothing, but not doing it right.

Even though that price is a little high it seems to have been done correctly.
Good luck with your new beast!

The shop I that charged $377.09 for my brake flush is Autoscope, in Plano, TX. I have seen that they post on this forum (and are a sponsor? - no sure.)
As always, the quality of their work is superb. However, if they are going to charge far above dealer rates, I think I'll just go to the dealer, save some money, and get a loaner car to drive.
