Few new videos: LS2 6.0 Camaro SS, Monte Carlo SS, Big Turbo Evo X

Monte Carlo was really nice, not sure what he had except for what he told me 28" slicks and rear
I spun a bit on that run but pulled hard after.

The 6.0 LS2 Swap Camaro had full boltons and cam.

Evo X has bigger turbo and full supporting mods, 11.7@118 car. I slept a bit on launch and spun a bit too since that was my 2nd pass on the narrower Mickeys. Launching on the 305s on the street was easier and I actually beat him off the line on, the 255s need getting used to. This run only went to about 1200 feet since the Evo stopped early.

enjoy

thanks allen. i prefer street. its more fun, plus as long as you are on a DR you will beat cars faster then you on the strip. getting grip on the street is more challenging. i got the track every 3 weeks to because it's fun as well.

street "season" is practically over. i have't seen anything worth racing in a couple weeks. that Monte Carlo was from 3 weeks ago, i didnt even swap the DRs on for this sunday.

Very nice, becareful out there. Racing at the same spot all the time can get you in trouble really quick.

thanks jody, when i had the 305s on i used to leave even harder on the street. the camaro pass was the first race on the mickeys and the Evo run was the 2nd, they were mounted 30 minutes before i went out that night.

few nice things about that light, its between two different police counties. it switches fast, just like the track. it's straight and we have the 1/4 mile identified, if you pay attention to some of the video during the end you can see 2 cars parked on the right side after that overpass. overpass is 1100 feet into the race. only bad part about it's about a 2% incline

it's not a crowded spot. there is only a handful of runs there in a night. they could be as early as 9pm or as late as 2.30am. that light is only really used for "challenge" runs. you wouldn't normally see ricers racing off that light.

philly does have the "obnoxious" street races as well where you have upwards of a 100 cars lined up to run....which i do not attend. they are is south philly by the airport - not the greatest of neighborhoods. number one district in homicides just about every year and counting.

As you can tell from this photo - they run the ***** out of that spot...
