What should I do? MBH Longtube's or Stage 1 kit and TB?

Ultimately I will end up with the works but for now I am torn between 2 options:

1. MBH longtube headers. They seem to do quite well on our engine plus add a nice little sound.

2. Pulley, cooling mods, 82mm TB with tune. This seems to be the conventional route.

So which would you do if you were in my shoes??

Tough choice, as both are great mods.
If you think eventually you'll end up doing both, I would start with the headers.

I really like the MBH headers. May be we can get a group buy?

Go for the headers first. Even without mods these motors are choked by the stock exhaust manifolds.

I would go with the stage 1 mods with cooling. In the long run it might save you some extra time and money with tuning. You could easily get a box tune that's been proven and with the LT's you'll need a custom tune. IMO paying for a custom tune twice will start to add up with both the tuners time and dyno time. Just my $.02.

got over 70 rwhp with a 172mm, tune, heat exchanger and new water pump.

If you are looking for power, get the tuning/pulley package. If you want sound, get the headers.

yea but whats the cost in relation? and eventually you will need headers esp when u put on the bigger TB and pulley... all that air in needs to get out, right...

Cooling is my next step for sure, would have been the 1st but I missed out on a badass HE...

O and what kind of tune are we talking here? A "shelf tune" or a custom dyno, cause that's a big difference!
