Hello everyone, my name is Abdulla. I figured I should register and introduce myself seeing that I've been spending a lot of time reading through the posts …. with great satisfaction if I may add

I always had respect to the AMG package where it takes a luxury car and transform it into something sinister that screams for blood. I've been saving for a long time to claim one for my own, and here I am. and the best part is, I was also saving for the mods too ….. Eurocharged Stage 3 power package looks mighty tempting

Anyway, just got her 4 days ago:

2005 E55 Silver/Black leather interior, Panoramic Roof and Keyless-Go

Hope to have a good time here and get to know some new friends across the world.

Later all,

Adsonic

Congrats on your purchase and welcome. Did you buy this car in chicago by any chance? Seems to be the exact car Luxo motors had on their site a few months back.

Welcome Abdulla.

V12, too funny. I look at Autotrader almost constantly, watching for '06 E55s and '07 E63. I see Luxo Motors all the time, and have actually heard some bad things. Either way, small world!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, and I'm happy to say that it never felt so good to come to the dark-side. Rest assured that I'll be posting a lot of questions in the near future (I know, I know, after doing a search first ), as it looks like a very knowledgeable group of people here looking over the new members.

It's really a small world, yes that's the same car. I've been hunting for one for sometime now and they where the only ones who were willing to play ball. They where willing to do all the paper work and arrange shipping.

Well …. I paid for the car 4 months ago and had to call from time to time as they were really taking their time with it and they never updated me …. I guess lost points on customer service, but they did get the job done without any kind of complications.

The only complaint I had (can't blame them for that as I don't know if it was from them or from the shipping vessel), I received the car with a small crack in the right manifold. The good thing is that I was planning on replacing it anyway with headers, the bad news was after I buy the parts and ship them here ……… I'm hunting for a used one now in the junkyard off an E55 or E500 as those where the only ones that had the same part number.

Looking forward to unleash it to the world here …. Here where no strict emission laws (bye bye cats or just maybe Hi-Flow cats), cheap top end fuel, friendly cops, predictable speed traps and beautiful women. What more can I ask for, life is good

Would love to, but at $2000/- plus dyno-time ... I would really need to think this one big time V. shipping my PCM with a dyno report.

with the pkg you are looking at it truely needs a dyno tune. the cost is high yes but tony is a genius at remote tuning and you will never reach the potential of the car with a simple flash tune. also the 2000$ is refunded when they get the unit back minus the tune cost. something to consider if you are dropping big bucks in mods

$1500/- considering that there are no E55 available here with the features available in this one, I would say it was a good deal.
