Made up my mind...
After deliberating over the past year, i finally decided to bite the bullet & get an ELM.
I'm thinking i got the deal of the century...a brand new/never installed Renntech V2 ELM for $850 shipped from EBay.
Now i'm excited for summer to come, & i've got 4 months of winter ahead of me.
PRAISE THE LOWERED!

i got the renntech ELM V3 installed last tuesday (12/01/09) by James ACG. This has the usb port to hook up to the laptop. Max drop is 4inches. But i set mine to 2.05F and 1.90R...still playing with the settings to get a one finger gap, but even front/rear.
One thing that i did notice is that at traffic lights it lowers itself? So when driving its raised, but not sure how much? Is this the norm?

I live in Saskatchewan. There's really no point in installing it until March 2010, since we'll have major snow & -40 temps until then.
I don't have the remote with mine. I think i'll just get my wires extended by my tech & mount it in the console.
I am happy that i got my car starter installed last week. It's a definite bonus having a warm car to get into on days like today (minus 40 degrees)

I'm getting mine installed this coming up wed from James at acg- I spoke with the renntech representative and there's a setting via laptop for speed/height changes like the carlsson unit. you can make the car raise while in city driving speed and lower during highway speed and vise versa. I will play with the settings coming up wed and reprt more.

i finally got around to call james... the speed/height settings were set to 0 as default. So when i was at a dead stop, the ELM would lower the car at each stoplight. Changed the setting to 75 (to return back to stock height). Since then, it hasn't lowered when stopped at a light.
Just make sure James connects the power wire right :-) if not you'll get a Visit workshop. Luckily i caught him in time 3 hrs later after the install, before he flew to NYC
