I've got a set of Carlssons on my car. I'm thinking of toning it down, maybe going back to stock. I have a buddie who is interested in maybe trading wheels, his OEM for my Carlssons. What do you think looks better?? The Carlssons look brand new and are 19's, staggered. The OEM's are just that, OEM. Let me know, I could use some direction!

sorry to go off topic but what tint % are you.

I like both looks. Stock wheels kinda makes the whole care look stock. With the black wheels you notice the other mods.

Np, and thanks for your advice.

The tint is 35% and 35% for the passenger windows, and 20% for the back window. I've always had 20% and I was NEVER happy. I always got pulled over, had 4-5 tickets that all turned into FTA's. The 35% is spot on PERFECT. It looks factory tinted, really elegant. I couldn't be happier, I would recommend 35% and 20% to anyone and I will never do 20% all around ever again.

The Carlsson 2/5's are one of the sexiest wheels ever! I say get them refinished with a silver face and polished lips and it's game over.

Stock all the way. I'm not a fan of black wheels. The factory rims on my 996 are black and I prefer the winter silver wheels. (even though the 996 is black)

I would love to see what those wheels would look like in hypersilver! Brilliant!

I would have to say that I would dump both and go with a HRE 8 series option or a 543 with a polished lip and black face...There are wheels for sale on here for around 2K-4.5K and they are really nice and a great deal...Wheels to me are the biggest part and most stand out part of a car...Choose wisely!

I prefer the stocks better by the way out of the two...

Here it is, before I powder coated them. I had to do so because the driver before me DESTROYED the finish. No curb rash just paint chipped to ****.

Interesting, those are the one piece 2/5's. I've never seen those. I thought they were the multipiece ones.

And Forrest Gump does have a good suggestion

Roll the stocks if you want to blend in and be under the radar, roll black if you want a fight.

Doods I would fist fight with Fedor for Godfathers wheels. My gf told me she'd cut my bullocs off if I spend another penny on the ride. Luckily she cant tell the difference between the Eisenmann and the stock! She's amazing.

Count me in the MAJORITY who like the STOCK 100x better.

The black Carlssons cheapen the look of the car and make it look look "ghetto" IMO, no offense (you asked). Nice car btw.

Not a fan of an all black wheel. Stockers would probably look better, but as has been said before, you would then look stock.

What's the weight difference between the Carlssons and the stock wheels?

I think the ALL black looks a bit off. If there was some silver in them somewhere they would give them some more definition and would look better.
