-2200 DA. Something isn't right there unless you are looking at DA from 2AM??? Good luck getting traction at 30 degrees Fahrenheit ;-)
I think we are going that weekend as well, no worries on traction my car has no power so she hooks up just fine!

The online websites use weather data that maybe as far as 5 miles out.

Having said that..... anything close to zero DA in California is a miracle

So who exactly is going up there this weekend?
Not necessarily true, Dragtime had my run at 3:00 pm on 12-5-2009 @ negative 47, which seems fairly close to what my handheld was getting. +/-150. I mostly use Dragtimes for DA reading because that seems somewhat close to my handheld, but just recently I started exploring smokemup.com. This morning Dragtimes had Sacramento at -2197 @ 8:00 am, look it up. We could try to guess what the DA is the track but in most cases I'll use my handheld and so far it's been somewhat close to dragtimes numbers.

Having said that I could guarantee well over -500 at the track if temps stay at around 51-53 degrees. I have several runs in at this track and I'm telling you it's going to be fast this weekend....I promise. I'll even go this far, I'll break my PB once again this weekend if traction isn't a issue.

Actually, on that day at 3:00 p.m., your handheld showed numbers as high as +380 ft...... I know because I had it all day and was measuring DA every 10 minutes Honestly, I don't think dragtimes' DA calculator is too accurate . Yes, at some parts of the day, the inaccuracy is much less than others but I rather go with the handhelds and data collected at the track.

So are you going to Sacramento as well? Seems like the list is growing

Yeah, in general the last few times I used it at Sac the numbers seemed pretty close to the handheld. Like you mention the handheld is what I use for all my track runs and the reason why I purchased it. The thing only cost a few hundred dollars and well worth it...imo.

Yeah, I'm going since the wife decided to leave my at home. I need to be at work next week taking care of year end crap. For the last 3 years I always took 2 weeks off, unfortunately not this year. The question is.....are you coming????? Come on Mo 12.0x's are in your future.

I'm really thinking about it...... but I would need:

1) To find some VP race gas, as all places around here are closed.
2) The world's fastest E63 driver to make the trip with me

I cannot wait for this. Josh I have a feeling that this will be the last time I'll be able to claim quickest/fastest on west coast. Get that ECU tuned correctly this time so you can beat the east coast Cs

Yeah, it definitely wasn't the ECU at fault. It was my inability to roll into the throttle on street tires that was holding my times back. I was just mashing the gas as if I had drag radials on. (Which I WILL have this time, so we'll see what kind of monster I've really got on my hands.) I'm thinking if I don't spin my tires every time I launch I might get somewhere decent times, maybe even mid-11's. I mean a girl can dream, right?

I'll let you take the drag tires for a few runs if you want, too. Also, you should join our caravan this time. We had a lot of fun last time even before we got to the track!

Hey guys,

This sucks but I'm going to have to bail on this one. I popped my transmission last week, and the dragon's going to be down for a while. Lame.

Best of luck to everyone, and I'm expecting 11s from you Mac. I know can do it!
