What happened to VRP
Its been a while since I did not visit the forum. I came back to start researching for a package. I noticed that vrus was banned, would it be against forum rules to ask why he is no longer a member here? I tried searching but had no luck.
Also, I was really interested in the VR600 package, but I cant seem to get in touch with VRP, anyone know how I can do so?
Last year, I bought their CF airbox/CF python tubes/CF engine cover, and I really liked their service and products.
I even emailed Victor on Monday and I have yet to receive a reply.
Did they go out of business? Any input is appreciated.

VRUS (Victor, founder of VRP) and Vadim (Satellite shop in LA) split awhile ago.
Victor is doing fine, but just not messing with AMG stuff anymore. He just got sick of some things and it wasn't "fun" anymore for him and I will just leave it at that.
It really was his hobby and not main source of income.
Not sure what is happening with Vadim but I wish him the best.

Paul - if you expect these to make power I think you are wasting your precious £'s... they do have a look good factor but thats about it.
The air box is a similar story only reason it is supposed to "flow better" is because at the inlet to the airfilter system the air does not smack into the bottom of the oem airfilter but with the porterfield - I think thats what they are - airfilters that come with the airbox kit, are shallower and provide less obstruction at the opening to the air inlet of the airbox.
Also I don't think the oem y pipe etc is that poor a design, at least not the 80mm+ variety!
Have you had chance to have your goodies installed?

Hi Steve,
Look good factor for sure, I found a company that will apply carbon to the oem engine cover to match the Renntech air box, so I would like to get the carbon pipes to match.
The goodies. I'm going to start with the headers on boxing day, test fit/mod, then sent off for ceramic coating, hopefully installed before new year.
TB/air box will be fitted in Jan at the dealer whylst in for a major service.
Rear tank/HE. I'm in two minds on fitting this myself, it just looks like a major PITA, If I can find a company around here, I will rather pay to get it done..
I really cant wait to get all the bits on and see how the car will perform.
Here is a pic of the tank, excellent work by Chris at Floored Fab!

Strong off topic discussion. Thanks to all that answered my question. I appreciate the fact that you are looking out for new MB owners, like myself. Happy holidays to all!

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
Plus the search function here is not the best. Seems to miss a lot.
I would like to get a hold of some python tubes though if only for the looks.
