**** DYNO NUMBERS ****

Well, so far I've seen 612.7 rwhp at 5600 rpm and 650tq at 4300 rpm. It got a little scary that's why I stopped at such a low rpm. The HP was still climing fast when we stopped. This was done on a DYNO DYNAMICS. Also with Nitrous. We picked this dyno because it is very hard to get good #'s on it. We had to tighten the straps many times to keep the tires from burning out when the nitrous kicked in. I was awsome and scary..
Before anyone get their feathers in a ruffle This is JUST DATA not a race to the fastest car. and YES IT'S ONLY #'S ,, Yes back it up at the track ,, BLA< BLAH, BLAH.. That being said I'm really happy with these #'s..
Would love to hear what #'s are out there on very HIGHLY modded AMG's..
This should be interesting .. Please play nice kids...

This Dyno runs that day were to get the nitrous dialed in so the A/F would be safe. So we didn't really go for the all out non nitrous pulls, as in let the car cool, etc. I will dig up that graph but it was in the low 500's..

good stuff!!

any hardware mods to the tranny? cuz the theory of the 7sp not able to withstand torque like the old 5sp, is beginning to look very poor.

Any tranny holding 600RWTQ is no joke.

I KNOW! That's all we kept hearing.....how the 7spd was at the end of it's limits already with the stock motor.

Bet it was Benz lying to us to keep us from modding.

Awesome numbers Rick!

Rick: Did you install the Kleemann TBs on this run? IIRC, I thought I read somewhere that you were ordering them. Those are awesome numbers on a DD. Do you have any figures without the NOS?

Was this @ Autowave? if yes their DynoDynamics isn't equipped for high torque (strap points are only in the rear) I had to have my SL double strapped, but NO tie-down points in front, both front & rear wheels strapped to rear.

Had the bucking/burnout very unsettling knocked the front rubber blocks off the frnt tires & surged/bucked about a foot fwd. Couldn't get a genuine full pull, operator had to baby it thru 2500 rpm's every time (made 564/690 after 4 hrs on dyno no Ice, on 91 oct)

Recently hit DynoJet w/pure 100 octane, full 45min cool dwn w/4 bags of ice in reservoir & iced Intercoolers 633 rwhp, no torque pickup (they guestimated rwtq in 730-750 range)

Track #'s coming soon already purchased new helmet/drag whls

Yes sir on same DJ I previously put dwn 501 rwhp before ECU/Down-Pipes/reservoir mods

We'll soon see what it really means though w/16" 13.7 lb drag whls (Sal's D'man on this idea!)

I'd easily chalk 30 rwhp to reservoir & proper 45-min cool dwn/icing IC's they were colder than my beer fridge in garage, & another 20 rwhp to 100 oct

Rick, it's about time you finally posted that..... I was itching to post it myself

612 rwhp is a very respectable number on the dyno but as I mentioned before, there must be something else we're missing here You ran 11.6 @ 124 last time out. I witnessed myself how badly you were spinning (and it was very scary ), but I still think your traps should've been around 128 mph. Some of the highly modified 55s are putting down just under 600 whp, for example, but are running 10.80s to 10.90s @ 130 mph..... I don't know if it's the software, tranny, or NOS setup, but something is holding you back still. We need to get this dialed down before the next event because after that, we won't have a chance to run at good weather until winter of next year

So I'm guessing you are running a 100 shot of nitrous is that correct? Can you please list your mods I know you have done a lot of work on your car, it would give me an idea of what route to take with mine TIA.

Opps, rollbar is right, my bad. I always thought only the convertibles came with a rollbar but that just shows you how much I know. Have fun with all that power.

I thought you said you made under 410rwhp just less than a year ago. So what's changed by that much? And on only 9psi???

That gives me great hope as I just learned that the max RPM on our Autorotors is only 14K RPM and around 12-13psi before it becomes inefficient.
