Star is the computer diagnostic tool used by MB. It can do about 1,000% more than a typical fault scan tool. It can look into every control module and do bi-directional control of its functions to confirm what is working and not. If it reports a certain sensor is not working properly (just as an example) it will not only indentify that specific sensor but a picture (similar as I posted for N93/1) and where it is located in the car. It also provides specific tests to confirm if the suspected reported issue is, in fact, at fault. It is the best way to work on a MB.

My W211 2003 E500 had similar problems with the battery dying every two days and it ended up being the power seat modules. My indy mechanic bypassed the circuit and soldered some wires together to avoid having to replace the modules. The power seats still worked but only with the ignition on.

Exactly - doing a deep scan with Star will likely get you going in the correct direction. Then you decide what needs to be done and not be guessing. Nothing is straight up with these highly intergrated networked cars.

on my personal car...the bluetooth module will stay lit and active as long as its close enough to continue being connected to my phone after exiting and locking vehicle. when the bluetooth module is active, it keeps the audio system active as well.
not sure if this is faulty or by design.

I actually have the V60 adapter--I think I have 2 of them. Also the adapter for the SL55 AMG which is a little different. Been sitting in a drawer for many years now.

It is most likely a leaking rear air bags, most often when your rear air bags age, they develop tiny cracks in the rubber, and that is where the air is seeping out.
Or, it can be the air distribution block that is leaking, but you can spray soapy water and see if bubbles develop.
Most people just replace the air compressor, front air-struts and rear air bags, and they neglect to change out the air distribution block.
