Do the headlights come apart on E55?

If so please post some tips on how to take them apart.

i've done this so many times but what helps is pre heat the oven to 220-230 for 10-15 mins and then throw the lights in and let them stay in there for 5-10 mins and then take them out while wearing oven gloves or something to protect yourself and with a flat head screw driver start tp pry it apart.

so the only way to get them open is the melt the glue? they dont come apart any other way?

I would suggest a sealent in the groove, like Nissan butyl sealant. gray
goo which is temperature compliant. it's not a glue. once the lens is
on, you can use light bead of windshield sealant. it is more viscous than
regular silicone sealant and will seep into the nooks and crannies much
better. once that dries, you can lay a nice wide overlay of clear RTV
silicone. be sure you have good ventilation as the concentrated fumes
can discolor the clear plastic.
