Thinking of buying one from Fedor Dezyn- has anyone done so/how's the result and any issues to watch out for before I put my money down?

Any experiences/thoughts appreciated.

I had read some of the threads, but some seemed focused on an ECU that didn't work and issues with a refund. There were a lot of PMs sent back and forth and frankly I couldn't get a great sense of what the real issue was (particularly given that Vardim seemed to be a member in good standing for some time). Was curious if anyone had recently done the 82TB and if it was good quality (if it's proven to work would seem to be low risk) or if this was simply someone to avoid doing business with. My other mods were through kleeman, but their TBs are back ordered (and I believe only 80mm)

RennTech was the first to come out with the 82mm TB, have you tried them?

Yes, but BIG cost differential. I love to support my MB tuners and mechanics, but only to a point....

Contact Azipod, he purchased and installed a 82mm TB from Fedor Dezyn. I have the Renntech 82mm TB because at the time I wanted one the supply was limited. The cost is about twice as much from Renntech and I believe they all use the same TB from MB. With that said, I'm very happy with my purchase and have no regrets. \
