MIR opens the track back up on March 6th so I just talked to them and was able to get the saturday before (Feb 27th) for us to run. After they open back up, another weekend rental will have to wait til the end of the season (decemberish). For those of you that always ask me to do track rentals on a weekend here is your chance!!! We need about 40 cars to make it $100/car to run and $10/spectator. So who wants in???

WOW.

That is (1) TTM-tuned E55(thanks Luis) and (1) TTM-tuned E63(thanks Tony) so far.

Let see how many more would be willing to make the trip down.

I'm pretty certain a GTR(same owner of the STS TT C6 that I built) that I started working on recently will show.

How about a Lambo Merci?

Ahmad YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!! What serious cars do you have lined up so far?(Tom, Jay, etc) You know Jody will come to be a spectator!

Donovan coming with that WICKED E30?

Can't wait to see/meet Clayton and see his car run!!

Thanks Mo. I might sit this one out since I haven't really changed anything on the car. The plan was to up the boost but I'm waiting on hearing back about a house I'm trying to buy and don't want to spend too much money right now. Who knows, I might do it anyway lol.

Thanks Sun! How's your car running? Hope everything is well. If my friend brings his trailer I will try to launch it off the stall, if it breaks it breaks. Otherwise I probably wont run the car.

Car is runnin great! After I blew my head gasket at our last event, I took the opportunity to have everything checked while it was being replaced. I also completely redid my exhaust set up. Re dyno-tuned to fully take advantage of it and now I'm ready to roll! I've been gettin the itch to run at the track for so long now!

Oh and good luck again on the house! Hope everything werks out!

Of course. Actually, track rentals are the best time to learn. You might come to spectate and then change your mind and want to run. There will be alot of people there to help and give advice. Plus you get tons of practice launching the car which is very important in drag racing.

Gents, I'll be giving a drag racing clinic, don't worry.

Ahmad has been gracious enough to let the class use his record holding CLK as a learning tool. Maybe I'll ask him to unhook his nitrous this time, though. Don't want any noobs getting squirrely in it.

Awesome Ahmad!!!! I can't wait to see what your beast could do....10.57 or better, piece of cake for ya. I'm really hoping you take home that all time record it will be well deserved. Us west coast guys can't get it done, just too damn fast.

Good luck all and be safe!
