Best place for radar, where do you mount yours?
I have been getting mixed opinions, thought i'd ask here I'm going to hardwire the radar and don't know if I should run the wire on the bottom or top. Suggestions?

V1 hardwired right next to rear view mirror (on passenger side), with midcity engineering control module which send display to the display console (the warning and arrows on the V1 show up where your 0 km/hr is displayed in your picture), so the unit is dark and cant be seen by others. Can be muted by the wheel controls as well, though its a little cumbersome and I have a s separate mute installed into ashtray.

+1 (Don't have the midcity module) but I like it to be near the rearview so it's hard for the haters to see. They don't like seeing radar detectors, they think you speed all the time or something?

I keep mine in my head, sometimes it feels like this trying to cram all those signals and process it in there...
I've seen some sweet setups that modify the rear-view mirror, I'm sure a simple search will reveal them. I've seen numerous setups like this on here.

mine is located at the bottom of the window like yours. I have mine hardwired in to the glovebox light so it goes off when I shut the car off. nice not having wires hanging all over the place.

top - right of the rear view mirror - out of sight for people to see (I'm 15 mins away from VA where they are illegal) and also out of my line of sight. I tried positioning it on the left side of the mirror but for some reason it didn't look right and made me feel claustrophobic.
a pic from the outside - it blends nicely with the rear view mirror housing.
