Just spoke to DCT and I gotta say I'm impressed with the level of wervice and explaining the products to me. Looks like very well made products that can really makeover the interiors of these cars!!

Paddle for e55 has some problems, here is the explaination
First of all, why CLK55, SL55, CLS55 are easy to do buttons --> paddles conversion
1 look at the size of CLS55 and e63 module, the AMG 55 opening is actually larger and easy to accomodate the 63 paddles
2 The 55 back surface is flat and smooth, the 63 metal housing will sit flush
3 The 55 cavity is long and we even can move the paddles a little bit "inside" so it will be more visible from driver seat
4 see the +/- pins, these are all SL55 and SL65 with paddle conversion
Now, the e55, e55 wheel is unique for Mercedes models which only W211 AMG and very rare G-class will see this wheel.
first of all, the e55 module is small
and the buttons stay very close to the outter edge of the wheel. also there is a steep angle on the surface, so people do the DIY themselves think the gap (between metal and leather) is ok but if we make it for customers, they think the "NOT sit flush" is not acceptable
So, conclusion:
e55 paddle conversion is doable but not recommended!
Also, it will sit right behind the edge and not very noticable from driver seat!
