Yeah I am going to dyno the car but I spoke to Evosport and they told me that this car is easily in the high 480's for rear wheel numbers. They tuned it and know the previous owner who did the work. The torque is supposed to be in the mid 500's and that the cats should not effect the car that much.
Here is the video of the 12.5 pass

when is the last time you logged your air temps?this could easily just be a pump on its way out also.I would look there first. You should def trap a the least 3mph faster even with 20s.

OK--Just figured out what my REAL issue is here...First off, no matter what flash I got after the fact the MB dealer flashed my car when I had the electical issues and I ended up with the SECONDARY INJECTION PUMP flash....Which is basically the load limiter restricter on the car...This is exactly what I have been feeling..The car feels that initially it has punch but then fall off completely..This is discussed here and the fixes are apparent.

It deals with emissions on cold start ups, cycles air to make the car warm up faster (or something to that affect)
Only reason I brought it in was my CEL was on, I scanned it, and it came back secondary o2 sensor. The dealer ended up replacing the thermostat, so hopefully they didnt flash anything, but thats what the code was showing.
so far, no codes and its been a week.

Ok--Well update here.
I changed the air filters upfront to K&N's and also I cleared out the rear cats(2ndary) and resonators...The air temps out side were probably at least 10` cooler tonight and my best was still only a 12.3 at 114? I even got a better 60foot time @ 1.94/???![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
Here is how the time slip read:
R/T 2.742(I sat there till I was ready to go)
60' 1.947
330 5.267
1/8 7.991
MPH 89.85
1000 10.343
1/4 12.314
MPH 114.54
![word](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/werd.gif)
WTF Are my 20inch wheels holding me back that much or I am just crazy slow here? I figured reading all your times here I would be much faster.
The car feels faster and when I switched out the air filters I hear the whine now where before I did not hear the SC. But I figured just the air temps outside helped me run faster and my mods look neglible in performance...>Keep in mind too that I feeel more confident driving it and am doing better there too....
WTF!!!!

do you have a set of 18s you can throw on there?Your time is almost identical as my car when I ran my best stock time.
I dont think 20s will kill 80whp but if you have a set of wheels try those and see

20's r killing that car we proved tonight his speedo was off by 3 with 18's he would trap 3-4 mph faster ... and thanks for not saying about the burnout lol .. at least mine had traction control off lol

The 20's are hurting me but I still feel I am leaving some out there....Yeah the burnout attempt was pretty bad but she hooked up with a better 60 afterwards...

I dont think your leaving any thing out there besides the 20's. Im telling you switch to some stock wheels ( dont even have to be DR's) and you will be in the 11's for sure.

wizo,
Your 20s aren't costing you that much - trapping 114 is low for a stock car, much less a Stage 2. Something is not right. Traction/burnouts/etc have a minimal effect on your trap speed. Your car isn't running right for the parts it has. You might want to strap down to a dyno and look at your graph and air/fuel chart. You may also want to datalog the car to check your IATs.

I live in Orlando FL>>>I just ordered the Meizere pump and fittings which will help with heat soak and I am going to get the heat exchanger...>Besides putting on the 18" wheels on the car if I cannot reach the mid 11's I will be shocked

On my 19" Maya's that weigh 56+lbs the best I ran stock was 12.07@118 and my best trap on the 19's was 119.22

I vboxed a 12.2 on the street when I had my 20" Radenergies, and that was with a horrible 60'. I know a V-box isn't a track but still pretty darn accurate. My car is basically a stage 2 car, so I would think something is not right with yours, or maybe your car was unfortunately not super strong from the factory?

Buy a scanguage II to check your IAT's. They should be lower than 110 to have full power.
Your car should be running at least 116mph 100% STOCK at the end of the 1/4.
Most people with stage 2 run 11.6 @ 120-122mph.

Well, here in S Florida even in the 80+ degree heat 80% of the stock E55's run 115-116 at the traps.
My SL55 runs 116 stock and it's 400 pounds heavier than an E55.
