+1. In dry conditions I'm fine in NJ with my performance tires. Traction not nearly what it is in the summer, but as long as you adjust your driving style your fine. I have a second car (Audi A6 with A/S tires) that I've been driving more times than not this winter. I wouldn't even attempt to take my E63 out with even 1/2" of snow on the ground. If I only had one car i would get a second set of rims and mount some Blizzak's for the winter.
