Beautiful car but it is used as it was a trade in. Will have to do better than 10K off msrp for this to move.

I would have to agree that $10k off is not quite enough in this case. You should have no problem getting about $6k off a new one right now. I would think somewhere closer to $15k off would be justifiable.

This car is just a P2 with rear side airbags.

No distronic plus would be a deal breaker for me. The ad does not say what package the car has (P1 or P2). Looks like a base car with no options. In a few more months a new loaded car will be discounted heavily. I would wait it out.

The car looks great but still dont like the rear.... some how looks like Hyndai Sonata but now also looks like Lexus GS... I guess takes time to get used to. I noticed it weight 5269 Lbs about 220 Lbs more than E55

The MCT is very mod unfriendly and the two vehicles that I've seen first hand at the track had trouble in stock form.... I would wait to at least a year or two to allow some of the bugs to be phased out.

Actually, curb weight is around 4000 lbs, so very close to the W211....

i thought 4300 pounds but now your gonna make me check again . Thats why the sticker threw me for a curve .

The MCT has been around for a while now, but was really problematic in the SLs. I just assumed they fixed everything by now(?) What troubles do you mean?

4,300 is heavy, heavy for the 2007-2009 E63 but God help us all, the 2010 is 5,000 lbs, a frigging anchor. How could this car test faster carrying so much extra weight? Answer, not possible, it must weigh in at about the same. Anyway, where is the 5,000 lbs coming from?

The 5000 lbs is gross weight not curb weight. W212 Curb weight is still around 4000 lbs.

You are correct, here is the curb weight from the website and this is less than the 07-09 E63 by a good bit. Anyway, I noticed some interesting posts in the W212 forum I need to check those out.

Actually, the W211 E63 (07 to 09 models) had curb weight specs of 4035 lbs. So still a little less than the W212. However, please note that the curb weight is the weight of the car with no options what so ever. After adding just Premium Package, the car becomes almost 4200 lbs.

I thought the car was exceptional on the track. The AMG engineers I spoke to were also very high on the handling of the car. The transmission was great. The only complaint I had was that the Pre-Safe would sometimes get in the way on hard breaking, mainly into turn 2 at Laguna Seca.

At this time, a brand new 2009 E63 can be had for $70K plus or minus say 2 grand.
