To the OP, congrats on your new ride. It sounds like a good find. Post pics when it arrives.
As far as pricing on used cars, the price is really what you want to pay for it at any given moment in time, for any specific car.
Very few people here are making a living off of buying and selling cars. And if so, then of course what they can be bought and sold for at this very moment becomes important.
But if you're buying to own, just buy what you want, when you want, and at a price you feel okay about. Then forget about it and enjoy the car. And when it comes time to get rid of it, you'll sell it for what it happens to be selling for at that time. Sounds simple to me.

Hey so I am the guy who is mentioned in this post, I am the guy with the designo CL55 for sale and the one the M3 Addict pm'd. Just cause he does not get along with emoving does not mean his money isn't still good, right? Is there any real reason I should not do business with this guy, or is it all snarky back and forth comments, and nothing more?

Lol Max. Funny thread. I'm trying to learn all i can about the E63 before I buy. This site is helping me a lot. I would never talk smack about a MB if I never owned one though.

If I may retain my liquids here for one moment. M3-addict must suppress his deification in such a mammagramic testicular virtue. He further displays such ejaculatory overtones in this thread which shall not be tolerated in the sanctamonium of our inner society.
Now, please enjoy this snipit of secretions and reading dysfunctions.

rol,
how do you access this info? This is really good info as any of these cars that end up at dealerships we can get an idea what they paid for them. It really does look like there is little mark up between these auction prices and retail prices. Tough business to be in to make money. At best something there is maybe a few thousand dollars profit in there. Tough to dish out $38K or so for a nice low mileage car + fees to sell for low 40's.
Don't you think?
