E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
To dechrome or not? That is the question in my life.
Curious, I am contemplating pulling the side moldings front, rear, and sides and spraying them to eliminate the chrome molding to give a sportier look. Thoughts? Anyone else have a pic of theirs? Still unsure about the handles.

i don't think it's necessary on a silver car. The chrome and brilliant silver kinda just blends in. Just remove all the amber on the car, but you've done that!

Takes the bus.
You should just have a guy lay matte black vinyl over your trims. Lots of great shops in Socal that vinyl whole cars could do all the trim in an hour.

Maybe just the emblems, but not the chrome on the moldings.

thanks for the input, still up in the air on this one. Keep going back and forth, I will need to snap a few pics and do a little editing on the chrome.
Wheels are iForged 20s. For sale by the way. Not lowered. Just on setting II all of the time.

Having owned a silver e55, I found the chrome accents to be just that- accents. Id leave them because anything else would look cheesy. The E55 is a classy sledgehammer IMHO and in silver the chrome fits.
