My 18 year old nephew Justin just got diagnosed with colon cancer....thats the last thing you expect at 18

I'm very sorry to hear that. My cousin Mark (32) is battling Glioblastoma Brain Cancer. My cousins out look is grim, but that does not make us any less strong. Defiantly will be pulling for your nephue. Stay strong.

 

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Nobody ever knows when things like this happen and it reminds us all of how precious life is; makes many of our daily problems seem insignificant.

So sorry to hear that. Hits a personal note with me. Have LOTS of experience with colon problems with members of my family. 18? SO YOUNG man! Just doesn't make sense sometimes why stuff like this happens.

Wish I could say he has an easy road ahead. You got prayer support on the other side of the Rockies over here.

god bless and wishes to your nephew and father. stay strong and when times have got rough in my life I always live by "Everything happens for a reason" and "whats meant to be will be" - Luckily we live in 2010 and not 1810 or 1910, they have made such giant strides in terms of healthcare and treatment. I wish them the best recovery and remission.

 

That is too young...my prayers are with your nephew and I hope they have caught it early. God bless your Dad too...my pops has CHF also and was hospitalized for 3 weeks last month for it so I know how you feel.

His soul is in our minds. Unfortunately, sometimes it takes the spook of our precious young to make us understand how insignificant so much of what we value really is.

I am in the middle of a divorce, so kind of a loss of sorts and it is very very stressful. I can only imagine how much more stress such an ilness that leaves you so helpless can do.

I wish you the best my friend my prayers and thoughts go out to you and all the people suffering from this terrible illness my mother also has been battling breast cancer for almost 16 yrs off and on. I can tell ya one thing this can only make you and the people who are going through this stronger and more understanding about how precious life is. So if i could give u any advice about this unfortante situation is to keep your head up, stay in high spirt and positive as you possably can even if it get to tough. Again my heart and thoughts go out to you and ur family.
