I don't listen to music anymore - ill take some video/pics without fail tomorrow although my digi camera doesn't take the best sound - why dont you make a trip downtown this weekend you can see/hear it in person

Will moving from 18" 275/35s to 20" 285/35s and 18" 235/40s to 255/40s throw a code?
I know that the speed will be a tiny bit off, but man do 20s look good

If you're trying to avoid the thin sidewall, you could run a 255/35 up front and a 275/30 in back without throwing codes. I don't know if a 285/30 would fit in back.

I tell you this...I have had 20's for about 2 years on my CLS. IF you MUST have 20's:
1. Get forged rims over cast. Cast rims are heavy, and can crack a lot easier than forged. If you get cast...your car will be slower and you will notice.
2. Try to avoid running 25 series tires on the car. You will feel the road much more (depends upon tire type and compound), and every bump or pothole will make you cringe. You can't avoid them all, I sure couldn't and had 2 cracked rims. In half. I am back to stock now...
3. Make sure the fitment and speedometer are correct and true as possible.
