So what you're saying is to go play with my car for a little bit.... and report some findings.

Great idea!!!

With an ambient temperature of 29 degrees I was seening coolant temps rock solid at 186. IAT's were around 60 to 70, would dip a bit when I got into the throttle, and then would begin to quickly rise if I stayed in it. I did a 0-90ish run and saw IAT's hit 138. I'm sure my cruising IAT's would have been lower if I had started logging with the car cold, but I drove home from work, parked the car, and then went for a drive about half an hour later.

With ambient at 30 degrees, I see about 50-55 IAT's cruising, and 170ish on the coolant.

See it has paid off already. Your IC pump is certainly dead.

Used torque today and with 72 ambient, IATs stayed around 98 - 103 and shot to 130s when i floored it. can't recall exact coolant numbers but looked to be 190 area. Was more excited to finally see boost as my last datalogger didn't show me that.

I believe I have.... I just got under there and jumpered it, crimped the return hose below the alum tube, and it's not pushing anything thought the nipple, even after 1/2 hour not even a drop.

I'm thinking I have DOA J-CM30.

Nothing worse then when your johnson wont work.

Ohh man...... I'm sorry this is looking like a thread hi-jack.

I'm going to Home Depot to get some 3/4 in clear tubing... I'm gonna test this dude just to be sure.

If it's bad, then work the warranty route.

I had issues when I installed mine and the H/E. I ended up using a battery jumper and direct wiring the CM30 to the jumper and I could then hear the pump turn on and knew it was working. Once you do that and run the clear hose to the resevoir, you'll see the coolant start to flow. I found it easier to fill the resevoir and let it sit for a while with the cap off and then to remove the nipple cap to further relieve the pressure in the system and let the coolant flow. Once I couldn't get any more coolant in the resevoir, then I turned the pump on and about 30 minutes later, no more bubbles. I'd check to make sure the pump works by wiring it direct first.

IAT's around 127*
COOLANT 186*
AMBIENT 50*

This is strictly stop and go traffic. What should IAT's and coolant be?

Just driving in stop and go, no hammering at all.

I have hammered it quite a few times before on other occasions with no supercharger shut down, car feels very strong.

^^ Those IATs look to be very high cos I didn't climb that high yesterday until I floored it for a while. I'm still stock cooling with dealer bosch replacement for what its worth.

Craig those IATs are way to high for 50F ambient. If you have replaced the pump you probably have air pockets in the system

I'm driving now.......46 ambient......IATs at 60 normal running two hard pulls to 100 highest I saw was 101iat....coolant around 180 solid. I'm on a new Bosch factory pump.

A few more hard pulls and it jumped to around 97 but I could not get it over 100 again.

Guess I will get a new bosch. Where is the best place to get one and what is the part number. My pump has not been replaced since I bought the beast last year.

Mine was done under warranty last month and I do not know the part number. They just told me with was a brand new pump BOSCH just came out with to replace the old one with. I have a new Johnson I brought in but they said the new BOSCH is much better and Jerry at EC and Craig at RPM concurred.
