Personaly I like the zeitronix, paired with a dashdaq looks to be a good set up. there are less exspensive option if a buget is more of what your after, you could go with PCMscan from palmer, there product supports the zeitronix and you can log using a laptop.

Can you see how much timing the ECU is pulling, knock sensor activity, etc?
