I think you're gonna be running a little too wide man. You definitely won't be able to drop it like the 63 in that pic until you roll the fenders something fierce... Widest set of twinkies I've seen on these cars is 10.5... Somebody can correct me if I'm mistaken.

I'm runnin a 10.5 with 295's and in sport II, I rub over the smallest bumps. I also rolled my fenders. That's why it's reserved for when the car is parked or if I know the streets like the back of my hand.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
I wish I could see a better picture of ...
that silver car. Those look like Renntech monos, but I can't be sure. Maybe it's the application for the SL/CLS, and that's why they are so far out there on the rear...anyone know who owns that car?
I would think that anything over a 10 with a reasonable offset would have a tough time with clearance, especially with the rear ride height lowered.

I like the slammed effect in S2 on the highway at 65- people just STARE, especially when the wheels are freshly polished... but.... due to the current roads here in MD and VA- I'm getting some replica e63 19's with some sturdier sidewall tires. I can't take the beating in these 20s right now- they go away until the roads are fixed.
+1 for your wheel taste- excellent, indeed.
You pwm me all day.

Too kind good sir. I am just another fellow enthusiast as yourself! Sometimes I miss havin the HRE's cause they were 19's and I could have some fun, but havin the LM's in 20's on Sport II while on the freeway and havin people stare is priceless. Sometiems when it's parked, I leave it in Sport II and people just sit and stare all day...

On a e55? I have had 285/25/20s and dumped on a 20x10 rim without any issues. 295 may fit, but would probably rub...

I'm just referring to if you or anyone knows if the tires will mount to the rims? I can do mods to the fenders on my clk to make the rims fit but I'm curious if 295s will fit a 9.5rim??

I'm running these on a clk320. I figure I can deal with the rubbing by simply rolling/flaring fenders & if absolutely nec I can get a 10mm spacer to prevent rub on springs or inner wheel well. But I'm not lookin to lower my car @ all & have a great eBay deal on a pair of 295/25/20s for my 20x9.5s. Sounds like will likely fit but would need fender mods which isn't a prob 4 me.
