This event was meant to show customers how to take their car to just about the limit on a road course. Many of the people, did not have racing experience. The instructors from Bondurant did an amazing job showing everyone how to drive their car on a performance level.

I thought the Mercedes would be in big trouble, but they held their own on the track today. My younger Brother Keith, in his CLS55 ran the fastest time on the auto cross course for his class, Beating out M3's, Sl55's, and many others.

I also think a new rivalry was born between my brothers CLS55 and RARfinancial's CLS63. Those guy where pushing each other to take the CLS to the limit.

Rick must have some amazing footage of this event, So hopfuly when he gets back to Cali we can see some of that.

For those who think the E55 cant handle.. they may want to think again. The Dyno-Comp built Silverstate Classic E55 was just outstanding on the race track. Placeing 3rd overall in Autocross and keeping right up with Ferrari's and CLK63 BS..

Im sure there is a video kicking around of Bob Bondurant hot lapping the 700+ WHP Dyno-Comp ZR1 corvette. It was one of the most insane things I've seen. Or the pro drivers taking some of the cars around for hot laps.

What you are hearing is not the F430 its a different car taking off on the right side of the track the camcorder was right next to them as they took off but it was not in view of the screen. Because once one person gets half way through the cones a second car takes off.
