For the dog owners out there...
From time to time there's a debate on whether the dog should go or not go in the car. The first "mod" I got was this "custom" back seat cover for the dog. We've had it for as long as we've had the car and I can't say enough good things about the product: easy to put on and take off, it stays in place and never moves (dog weighs 85 pounds now) hair doesn't get anywhere and it's water proof. The rear seats still look as good as new - no claw marks or any evidence of dog whatsoever and the black color of the cover blends in really well with the charcoal leather. There may be cheaper ones out there but the "custom" fit is what got me - it's not exactly custom but it does fit the back seat really well. Just thought I'd throw it out there if anybody was looking. . .

AWOL, Is that a yellow lab? I love my boy, (I've got a 2y/o) but after ripping the interior out of my WS6 to lay down some insulation and not being able to fully vacuum up his hair I vowed he wouldn't be in the E55. I'm working on a company truck, then he'll can roll around in the WS6 and the truck.

That looks like a very good seat cover. Recently got a different kind for the wifes car but that one looks better. My Iggy's don't ride in the E, but in other cars I get more frusterated with the wet nose marks all over the windows. Iggy's have short hair and don't really shed too bad so hair isn't a problem.

AWOL, seeing your dog makes me miss my Lab that used to ride in my car with my EVERYWHERE I went. I just had to say "Kennel UP" and he would FLY behind my back into the other seat. Of course, that was into my Jeep and not my E55
He was the coolest dog...

AWOL - love the two pics with him sitting shotgun. Car looks great as well.
Lady AMG - is the LV yours or Mochi's?![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Amen brother - luckily enough they're super easy to get off or else I'd seriously reconsider the car policy![devil](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/devil.gif)
Nice dogs! There's a blue mastiff in the neighborhood that my dog can't stand but there's also a female Boerboel that he absolutely loves (I don't know if it's the South African thing but she is the only dog he will role over on his back for).

I have two bullmastiffs and I think they belong in my suburban over the E55. They can eat it for a snack.

We've got three Bulldogs and a Pitbull and they NEVER, EVER, EVER, ride in the E55. One, it's way to dangerous to have your dog loose in the car, and I refuse to get all that dog hair and drool all over everything.
In fact, we bought a Honda Element specifically for hauling dogs in crates. The only safe way to transport your dog.
Story: I had by Boxer, Dixie RIP, riding shotgun in the front seat of my 911 when some a--hole pulled out in front of me and forced me into a panick stop. The dog's head hit the windshield so hard it cracked and I thought the dog was dead for sure. Fortunately, Boxers have a head like a rock and she was OK but since then the dogs ride in their crates in the Element.
