Great times Haji

Is dodger running 100 octane gas on a 93 tune or does he have a full 100 octane tune? What was the 60 foot for both of your runs?

Again, great runs guys

My car broke before I could even make a pass. After spending the past 24hrs scrambling to get the car ready I finally pulled into the track and heard the power steering pump making noise. Figured I didnt need power steering to make a pass. Did a burnout, ten went to run and it was running really rich and studdering. Pulled around to staging lanes and belt was off. After looking closer the power steering pump had torn away from the block! Didn't even get to make a single pass Somehow broke the power steering pump off the engine block I'm just not meant to break the record.

At this point I dont know what I'm going to do with the car. Depends on how much damage is done. Car runs fine, just no power steering. If I put a smaller belt on the car and pull off the pump I could run it but I think I like power steering haha. I'm 99.9% sure it would have beat the record. But I'm not meant to do it.

It was a done deal for Ahmad today, no doubt in my mind he would have broken the record. The weather was perfect and the track was hooking. and then his ps pump decided to call it a day. It was a ****ing huge disappointment not to see him make a pass. Sorry bro.

My best pass was an 11.52 at 122 with a 1.72 60'.

The c63s are nuts. Those *****es are LOOUUUUDDD!!!

Clayton, your car is just ridiculous.

Damn Ahmad!! Tough luck man. Don't sweat it, I am sure there will be more track days. You tried and gave it your best, just wasn't meant to be. Look at it on the positive side, the darn thing could have broken while you were going doing the track and something worst could have happened. , Take it the positive way.

Thanks to Ahmad for putting yet another one of these together. I felt so bad for him today. I mean, it's one thing to break something because of too much power, but a friggen P/S pump? Ugh.

Next time, bro.

My best pass was an 11.52 at 122 with a 1.72 60'. I did expect more then just a 3/10s better et compared to the last time it was out with all that has been done to the car, but oh well.

The c63s are nuts. Those *****es are LOOUUUUDDD!!!

Thanks man. You're right there with me in your 55K

Those NYC C63 are absolutely bonkers. They sound amazing and run some very good times. The best mod on them was the driver mod **wink wink**

I just pulled 10 random time slips out of my pocket. I ran close to 20 times, but here's 10 of em, sorted by E.T.

1. 11.400@120.63 w/ 1.707
2. 11.434@120.57 w/1.776
3. 11.466@120.54 w/1.778
4. 11.482@120.38 w/1.730 (and a .073 R/T )
5. 11.492@120.38 w/1.738
6. 11.500@119.90 w/1.789
7. 11.502@120.17 w/1.771
8. 11.537@120.16 w/1.797
9. 11.553@119.81 w/1.800
10.11.591@120.13 w/1.752

And here's the splits for run #1

60' 1.707
330' 4.788
1/8 7.349@96.30
1000 9.544

Damn Ahmad, when I got your text I was totally bummed. I was mentioning to a coworker this morning (drag enthusiast) that the all time MB record was going to fall today, and it would have if not for the unfortunate mishap.

Keep your chin up and get that shi!t fixed. Good luck Ahmad and once again sorry to hear about your problems.

Nice run Charlie! I'm sure you'll have that beast down in the 11.3 if not lower very soon. What kind of tires were you on?

Yes definitely crazy. never seen that happen before! It looks like it damaged the timing chain cover which involves removing the heads to get off! Won't know if there is any block damage til I have it apart, I doubt it. Still a ton of work. I might just pull the motor and put E55 shortblock in if I can find one for a good price and turn up the boost

Hmmmm....1.72 with Hoosiers??? I would have thought a much better 60' time would have came with the Hoosiers. If you don't mind me asking how did you launch? I have tried several different launches in my E55 and the way I launch now has done well in every E55 I dragged.

Clayton, you forgot to mention which runs had the seat massagers on. Absolutely amazing to see and hear in person. I think the only thing more consistent than your times is my wife losing her mind every four weeks (for some reason it's like clock work).

Ahmad, as everybody knows, you would of had it today - totally sucks.

Charlie, SICK is all I have to say.

...and oh my GOD! The sound that came out of those 63's - best quote was by Dodger's passenger - "he doesn't have to call to let me know he's almost here, I can hear him coming from blocks away"

Alan, until traction becomes an issue for me, I think I'm just gonna run on streets. With the SL, I have no way of getting DRs to the track unless someone schleps them for me. I've been fortunate to get some dead hooks on my streets, so I don't think DRs will even help my ETs. Well, there is the unsprung weight issue, so.....

World Class. When this thing lines up in the other lane and clicks off a 6.8x at 208mph, I'd say track prep was pretty good.

HA! Yeah, on my first 3 runs, I clicked on the seat massage. It's very stressful up there for me.

Those MHP C63s are orgasmic. A video is worth a thousand words.

Not his fastest time, but the only one I got.
