To everyone who has spacers underneath the blower....

Which belt are you using (part # if you got it)

&

Have you had any problems with belts shredding?

The assy also has stamped raised sealing ridge, Some areas of this ridge will flatten down a little , some areas will still have a very little ridge. This all helps seal & holds the seal against expansion & ( Hot engine ) & contraction (Cool engine) You may have two or Three options to resolve this type of issues. metal mating surface area must be very clean & oil free & dry. It you use the soft gasket (free) type Thermalater Heat spacer , I would suggest a attachment bolt Re torque after a motor has been brought to temp. Then cooled down. After the cool down ,re torque. I would do this a couple of times. You could increase the manifold clamping bolt torque , but I would switch to studs & Nuts.
I've always used a hard phenolic heat spacers , with a OEM gasket between it & The Head & Intake manifold. Cheers _PTEngineering
I may need to have my tech give this a shot before I do something drastic like pull the blower just to have these spacers removed. Thanks for the tip

I have not noticed this problem until now, I am using the car on daily basis for about 2 weeks since I installed the spacers.

Eco,

I'm unclear!

Are you saying you have had problems with your supercharger belt or not?

No problem at all,

believe me, if i saw any problem , i may either take out the spacers or find a quick solution because the belt of Brabus cost 300 USD each. Yes, it is only the belt .

An oil catch can is used to collect the oil that would normaly be ingested into the blower through the valve cover. Oil in your intake is not a good thing, it lowers octane and mucks everything up. My set up is diffrent in that I have plumbed my into the exh, the flow pulls out the oil residue under high load and is most usefull in a forced induction system becasue it helps stablize the piston in the bore improving ring seal. Its not a at all eco-friendly.

I'd do some research before doing this mod, you may find thats its not what you want. A simpler oil catch can that is tied into the stock breather system might be more of what your looking for...

I not sure how I'd go about doing that, or what pressure or flow would be nessasary? I though most times its just blocked? Not sure if tuning could fix the cel? Not sure how this effect the driveablity?

Your valves are very clean. How many miles on the car? Is that the meth at work or what?
