add me to the list yesterday, on the way home. I got the Stop car to low red lights of death. I hope onething is done on this, car is 4 years old and 38,000 miles, this is way early on a pampered car.

Yes it is. I was just wondering if the link i posted was the actual air spring bellow inside the airmatic strut. I'm tempted to gut mine and see. Here's my failed strut.v

fyi, what you and Gondon misunderstood is that I was talking about a steel suspension, not Airmatic replacements. Most folks here know about their air component offerings. What I wanted to know was whether they would ever build a non-pneumatic system for our cars. They have designed one for some Range Rovers and older Audi A6s. And no codes come up either. I'm guessing it's possible for the W211s providing there's a viable market for them.
