My tint guy has the 3m di noc carbon fiber vinyl in stock now, and I will say that in person the vinyl looks phenomenal and very very close to real dry carbon fiber.
My E55 is pewter metallic, you think it'll look nice or tacky?

Well, I'm going to have it done. I've always loved how w211s look with pano roofs, so with this vinyl, it should give the same look, but with a little bit of CF texture up close.
I'll post pics soon on this thread, then you guys can see how it looks on our cars.
If it doesn't look good, it's pretty easy to remove, so that's a good thing, lol.

$40 for install and 120-130 for the vinyl cost. $170 total. Great price for getting the nice black roof look e55s get with the panoramic roof.
The tint place says our roof is very quick and easy to wrap, which is great for us E55ers!

I have a Pewter with Pano roof and i can tell you its nice !
Silver, black, white, pewter will be good for CF look roof.
