Silver to Black
Don't change color - hugely expensive to do it right.
I have a silver E55 and it looks $ imo. However, every time I see a black E55 I honestly regret buying the silver one. I just got such a killer deal on mine I couldn't reist.
So, please share your thoughts on both colors and what you think about doing a paint job. Has anyone here painted their silver ride to black? Any advice as to where to go and where NOT to go and why?

Nothing looks more badass than a clean black car, but it's not worth it IMO.
Also it seems that MBZ makes more black E-Classes than any other color...maybe it's just me, but I see them everywhere, and it seems the majority of MBZ for sale are black too.
White & silver (or graphite) from here on out.

I bought a Sapphire Black M6 2 months ago as the car wooed me over with it's stunning looks. I am a complete perfectionist when it comes to my cars and any scratch, scuff, or swirl drives me nuts. So suffice it to say that I am ready to go insane after only 60 days of owning it. This would be my 3rd black car and every time I get sucked into buying one, I wish I bought white instead as white also shows off the lines.
As to a color change, forget about it as a paint job of OEM quality will cost you more than the difference of selling your car and buying a black one.
